It’s a precision blade… SC said the smaller blade is for the smaller areas and design and detail work.. people were buying the blade and putting it on the saber already so they decided to put it on there themselves because people were asking them about it quite often.. the blade is amazing when it’s used in its intended purpose because no other company but Andis offers a blade that size and it’s no where near as good as SC’s
They sent me the Precision blade as a gift when I ordered the gold saber a year and change ago, and after I adjusted it, it was perfect for lining up the beard and the mustache. The smaller size is perfect for above the lip. I had a shaver fall on top of it from the Shelf and bend the teeth and I've been sad ever since. I swapped it out for the standard x-pro gold blade, which Cuts just as good, but that small size is clutch for short vertical bars and stashes.

Exactly! I just ordered like 2 days ago got them today.
They are dangerous out of the box. My gold fx, there's a little room for error. With these, they bald the hair so got to be careful on the line up.
One mistakes and it's taking a chunk out.

Hey Reggie did you have to zero gap the diamond cut blade or does it hit straight out the box? I bought the x-pro slim blade and it is trash out the box. You have to zero gap them and then they hit nicely.Appreciate all your reviews

Hi there, question for you. I'm not a barber, but I just purchased the original saber as I'm a mostly bald guy and like to bald out with trimmers. Are trimmer blades interchangeable? or do you have to stick with blades from the trimmer brand your using?
As a barber I’ll answer your question in 2 parts
1. Yes you do need to stick with the brand for the most part
2. Some 3rd party companies offer blade mods it’s basically a plastic piece that you screw onto your trimmer that makes it to where you can buy a babyliss blade on a andis trimmer for example . As a regular guy I would not recommend you do that it’s a waste of money for the average consumer to buy a blade mod

too many different trimmers and clippers on the market and in the end most of them do the job. they make a huge amount of money and the people like idiots buy everything that comes out.
Definitely no need to buy everything that comes out. If you have a combo that is working, it’s sometimes pointless.

I have a babyliss skeleton with gold leaf. it gets hot already after 20 sec. after 2-3 min it is so hot that it feels uncomfortable. I have cleaned and oiled it but the problem persists. is it normal for baby liss to get hot easily?
