Nature Inspired Mosaics Created by Rachel Davies Mosaics

The mosaic was created as part of an art challenge to create a series of small mosaics inspired by images from nature. This mosaic was inspired by lichen and moss growing on a tree and is made with a mix of glass, slate and stone. All the pieces are cut by hand and set into a bed of tile adhesive/thinset.
The mosaic measures 2.5x3.5 inches.

What is the mortar you use?
