Remember that he was trapped in this blade for thousand of years, he went pretty mad after fighting void, but the entrapment in the sword fucked up him and broke him, there was a cool novel or a story i dont remember exactly, but it shows what he is feeling being traped in the blade: constant suffocation, no real feel for time, costant hunger etc etc, and imagine that for thousand of years, i just love his lore so much
Mainly he was suffocating and stuff because he was one of the first ones of the Darkins so the sole process of entrapment was imperfect
