@@nahida2572 The college application processes are pretty similar for each school. If you are a qualified for Harvard and can successfully complete their application, you will be able to for the other ivies as well.

Get Straight As ! Don’t mess up! Try to do your best! There’s no going back or or any regrading. You can always improve your SAT. Try to be involved in school as much as you can but as a leader.

Hey makenna!!! You may not know me but my name is Azeez Richardson, a LEDA scholar from cohort 16, and I’m looking at Harvard as a top school (I’m applying REA there🧍🏾). Nonetheless, watching you and your story has been very uplifting and I really look up to you as a figure of excellence and integrity. You give me hope throughout this whole process. I’ve been pretty on top of my stuff when it comes to college apps, but there’s always that feeling of uncertainty when it comes to these schools. I really appreciated your words of advice. Hi Makenna, when they said an intellectual activity you haven't mentioned on your application (1st short response prompt), does that include your extracurricular list? Can I write about an activity from my common app ec list for that question?

Hi! I just watched ur scholarship video, and I have a few questions....yes I am in 7th grade but I wanna be as comfortable as possible with highl school and going into college! One question I have is Do the scholarships work with ivy league schools? And what do u recommend to win the scholarships? Also one last question, I think, where or what is the best thing to do for extracurriculars and to get volunteer work done?

I know I’m only 12, but I’m really interested in astronomy and astrophysics 😅 I am deciding if I’d want to go somewhere like Harvard or Stanford. It says that Harvard is #2 in astronomy, while Stanford is #3. I think my decision will also focus on my college experience. So thank you for this really helpful video.

Hello, my name is Allison, I am from Costa Rica, I hope you are well, I am committed to your RUclips channel and I must say that I love your videos, I am writing to you because recently I began to think about what I will do after school and I It seemed a very good option to study at a university in the United States, I was very interested in the Minnesota State University but I had no idea that the cost would be so high, I recently saw your video about the different scholarships offered by different institutions and I followed your advice I started looking everywhere for scholarships that could help me but I have not found anything and I am starting to get desperate and sad as I am willing to work and do whatever it takes to pay for my studies but it is still very difficult for me, I'm still a minor and I'm studying so it's not possible for me to get a real job with a fixed salary that supports me, I really don't know if you know something I could do or if you could only talk to me.
I seriously feel very bad about this and I need someone I could talk to about this, I really appreciate your help and have a good day.

Can you please teach how the American system works. Whats a major, a minor, how do you see the program's school offer, how does the common app work, and the college board has wich benefits. I'm international and much information I think people think is common knowledge. Thank you, btw I love your videos!
A major is your primary course of study, it’s what you graduate with a degree in. For example, if you major in Chemistry, you graduate with a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry. A minor is your secondary course of study that you dedicate less time to. You don’t get a degree in this subject, it’s more like enrichment. And you can see what programs different schools offer by visiting their websites, or searching up “[your university] majors.” Hope this helps!!

Some HR departments reluctant to hire from Ivy’s… With the idea of helping HS students...should we be concerned about the new changes to the SAT/ACT? What has made colleges in recent years (BEFORE 2020) say that tests don't matter; meaning they're now optional!? Supposedly, some feel Finland to be the gold standard of educational systems. They have a Finnish matriculation exam at the end of High School. Their scores become the standard for which college they attend; the UK, and most countries in the world, have standardized tests-no “option out” with any of these countries. Why would HR departments do this?

Everyone applying to Harvard or similar schools will have to either apply via CommonApp or the Coalition App. (Regardless of where they come from)
