A little note here though I am in Canada know the country well. People who rides bikes with a yellow t-shirt are not doing so because they have bad taste 🤣🤣. They are licence cab drivers. The "cab" is called zemidjan or simply zem. Just hop in you negociate (a little cause very cheap) the price and pay before. The color of the T-Shirt varies by city but it in Cotonou it is yellow. You can call a taxi cab (car) but do mention you are a foreigner cause they will often not come. Zemidjans are preferable to taxi cabs unless you have a lot of stuff to bring with you.
Please do short video about loume axis benin portonovo. Usam University to be precise. I studied their but some of the areas have been coming out of my mind.
Thank you for the video its indeed educative, my first visit to cotonou was in the year 2005 since then anytime am lagos and free i do visit Benin republic. I could recall during my visit i changed 5k i went to Dotakapa Market bought lots things and still came to Seme border with lots of CFA but today our currency values has gone down, imagine you spent about 500k with a week which in those days you will buy car join body come back to naija with such amount 😂😂
😂😂 this car part cracked me up so much, but so true. Even the Beninese spoke of how badly the Naira has fallen and how well they used to profit from coming to work in Lagos to earn naira in the past, but not so any more. We keep hope alive for Nigeria.🙏
@Theoyinmakanjuola 🤣🤣 my sister is so sad. Honestly, how naira is depreciating. I always watched videos of how development is going in cotonou country as little as my local government in kano. I can see how Nigeria troops in every day for holidays and sightseeing. It's well with Nigeria.
@tammydavid2124 I’m glad you enjoyed it. And yes the bus took me inside Cotonou . The bus actually stopped at the office /bus park of the transport company within Cotonou.
Hi @entertech10 thanks for watching. I actually have all the costs of that trip in this video linked for you below. Please check it out . ruclips.net/video/NjTPdW_NlQo/видео.htmlsi=Nlo2UEeKfh7j--mu
Please my lovely sis, I'm based in badagry... And I would love to go for a vacation soon and cool of my head... What are the important requirements needed for me to to on a vacation in Cotonou... And I don't have international passport or yellow card
Hi Beautiful @ifeomaagha-ho9st, I’m glad you are here. That cooling off is necessary sometimes. As regards travel documents, you definitely need an International Passport though Cotonou is about 1hr or less from you, and we do not need a Visa, but it’s another country. Just try to get the international passport. Remember if anything happens during your stay, Nigerian government will know where you are and they can evacuate their citizens, but without the passport you are not recognized in another country. If you are stopped by immigration within the country or police are looking for some people, if they mistook you for someone else, there’s no way out. I can’t wait for you to get your International Passport and jet out on vacations.
Hi @sholaadunola2163 I booked through Bookings.com However please call the hotel directly to confirm all claims and offerings and don’t forget to convert rates gotten to Naira. That “cefas to dollar to Naira” rate thing can be tricky.
@sholaadunola2163 When exactly are you going ? let me know? Because I am actually in the middle of discussions with the hotel to finalize special discounts for my referrals like you to take advantage of.
Hi @gachaturtle637, trust you enjoyed the video. As per the Passport, it is compulsory and that is what the Airline will ask for for their identification. I’m here if you still have questions.
So glad I came across you ma❤💃💃💃💃I am flying to London through Cotonou.....pls what transport company did you use🙏how much did it cost and what are the this I will be needing for this travel ,please if u can also recommend a good hotel I will really appreciate 🙏🙏🙏..... pls help a sister
Hi @happinessonyeka1867, I’m glad you enjoyed the video. I went With ABC transport from Jibowu terminal in Lagos and the fare was N18,000 but I bet the fare must have gone up. Check www.abctransport.com for current fare, it’s a good idea to compare fare among their competitors too. The things you need are basically your travel document which is your International Passport, I paid another N3k because that was my first time visiting and I was told it’s for stamping. As per Hotel, there are lots of good hotels and apartments but the main criteria is safety, although things are generally peaceful. You can follow me on IG @oyin_makanjuola where I can as well speak with you directly.
@Raryor Thanks, I’m glad you enjoyed it❤ Exchange rate was 1 Naira to 1CFA as at that time, early this year. currently it’s about 1 Naira to 0.8CFA that’s like 1000 Naira to 800CFA . Overall we spent just less than 500k Naira with full enjoyment 😂,for a family of 3 for 2weeks. Let me know if you want specific details like costs, of transport, food, hotel. Etc Are you planning to visit Cotonou ?
