Guy who plays Oliver was the bad guy in Ant man and the Wasp. His latest work was being the Ghoul gunslinger in the Amazon show Fallout. And he voices a main character in another Amazon program INVINCIBLE, Cecil. He’s the show’s Nick Fury
Walton Goggins. He’s been in a lot I first saw him (I think) in *The World’s Fastest Indian* (2005) then in the tv show *Justified* (2010-15). Nell was played by Beth Behrs who was on *2 Broke Girls* (2011-17) and in *The Neighborhood* (2018-24).
The actress who played R.'s mistress in this episode played one of the leading roles in the wonderful series “Two Broke Girls” (also a sitcome with a live audience), which you absolutely must watch! I am just making myself another (4th) marathon with this series and I love it just as much as first time
The husband (Oliver) was played by Walton Goggins. He has been in a LOT of things...a modern western crime drama called Justified. He was in the Antman and the Wasp movie from the Marvel movies. Too many things to list. He has one of those faces that once you've seen him, you remember that you've seen him. Even if you can't remember where...😂
House of Pies really does exist. It is in the eastern part of Hollywood and, yes, it does have incredibly delicious pies. It has been my go to place to get pies for family gatherings for well over three decades. From where the gang lives, in Pasadena, it is about a half an hour drive. But since Raj is working at the observatory (presumably the Griffith Observatory), it is just down the hill, about 5 minutes away.
The few times I travel overseas, I bought a newspaper to learn more about what topics concern to the people there. I must be quick to read it because my dad uses a newspaper to start a fire for a barbecue hahahah
In response to the first 30 seconds of the video, I'd say that the dinner was more in response to Amy's favorite BOOK rather than movie. They did make a movie about Little House on the Prairie, but it started out as a book and Amy read the book before she saw the movie. Otherwise, your summary was spot on there. 0:49 Well, my dad still gets the Washington Post and sometime The New York Times. Me? I get my news via computer. 1:02 I like the smell of ink and paper, too. 2:16 You just had to wait a few seconds for her to point that out. And I find it baffling that you cracked down on Sheldon for not finding Raj's thing and getting distracted, yet you praise Penny for doing the same thing.... except Sheldon at least tried to find it and she didn't make any effort at all to find it. 4:12 Yeah that's the point. They're showing you a new song that wasn't in a previous episode. They're not going to show "Thor and Doctor Jones" again. That's done and if you want to hear it again, you can just find a video of just that song on youtube and listen to it whenever you want. For new episodes, they will show you new stuff. For new episode about the band, that means new songs. Yes, they mentioned "Thor and Doctor Jones" in this episode but that probably just implies that they play the song live all the time... but they're not going to show us every time that they performed it. This show isn't meant to follow the band around like that. It just shows us new developments with our favorite science nerds. 4:42 LOL! It's funny that you said "Time to brainstorm" while the phone was ringing. 4:45 Well, by principle, I'd say that a phone call from your mother is more important than new research. This particular case may have been an exception, but it's not like Sheldon knew why she was calling. If I were him, I'd assume she was calling about the wedding and that would be more important than brainstorming new stuff. Personally, I think the mom should have realized that's what he was thinking so she didn't have to ask "Why did you answer the phone?" 7:30 Magic doesn't exist. There is only science. What you call "Magic" is just science that you don't understand. It's not done by witched casting spells or waving wands or anything. 20:49.Yeah. He and Howard's mom are the resident chefs on the show and I'd love to try their foods. I'd also like to try Sheldon's mom's patented spaghetti and hot dogs. 22:58 Not your best prediction. Understandable prediction but not your most accurate one. The first episode is one of my favorites. MsMojo rated it as the #1 most underrated episode. I don't often agree with their takes on The Big Bang Theory because they say a lot of bad stuff about Sheldon and they praise Penny al the time, but this time I think they got it right. You've get Leonard and Amy having fun together, Sheldon and Penny solving string theory, and the addition of Bert to Footprints on the Moon. The one downside: I'm pretty sure this is the last time we ever see Footprints on the Moon. What a shame. Footprints on the Moon was a really cool thing and they just didn't utilize it in as many episode as they should have. There's no more Fun With Flags so we won't see them there again either. Another minor downside: They could have asked Leonard to play the cello. I just saw ELO live and in December, Trans-Siberian Orchestra comes to town, so no one can tell me that cellos cannot be rock and roll instruments. The 2nd episode is one of the all-time worst IMO. That girl may be even worse than Ruchi. She cheated on her husband with Raj, and Raj had no idea. Cheating is bad enough, but she practically put Raj's life at risk and the poor guy could do nothing about it since he had no idea until it was too late. As for the other storyline, Leonard put up with 7 years of Penny barging into his-Sheldon's home, eating their food, using their Wi-Fi, stealing their milk, etc. but he was okay with that but not okay with Sheldon barging in and doing less than that? I'm not saying I approve of barging in to other people's homes. I'm saying that if Leonard has a problem with it, he should have talked to Penny about it lots of times during the first 7 seasons. No one has just barged into another person's home more often than Penny, yet she doesn't get called out for it but the guys do. Also, Leonard was wrong. Sheldon didn't INTENTIONALLY annoy him when they were roommates. Sheldon has just changed over the years because of his friends... and he started changing even more when he met Amy.

The lady that Raj went out with is played by Beth Behrs, who starred in 2 Broke Girls and is currently starring in The Neighborhood. Her husband is played by Walton Goggins, who stars in Fallout.
What I noticed in real life what is kinda pointed out in this episode is that woman very often move on to the next guy extremely fast, often way faster than man, I wonder why is that.
In my experience, it's whichever one that initiated the breakup who usually moves on faster. Probably because they knew it was coming and had more time to get used to the idea.
Seeing Beth Behrs as the guest star in the 2nd episode reminds me to suggest you to react to 2 Broke girls when The Big Bang Theory will be over, because this show (2 Broke Girls) are a very funny show and i think you can enjoy it.
Back in Season 1, Penny said “Sheldon, one day I am going to get the hang of talking to you.” And now she’s helping Sheldon out with string theory!
When Penny does the three knocks, it’s really funny
knock knock knock, Penny. knock knock knock, Sheldon. (season 2, episode 23.)
Guy who plays Oliver was the bad guy in Ant man and the Wasp. His latest work was being the Ghoul gunslinger in the Amazon show Fallout.

Let's get started!!!
15:23 yes sometimes the simple things are right one.
It's very impressive how far Penny has come, she couldn't remember ancient Greece at Sheldon's lecture, and now she's helping him with string theory.
Penny String Theory Expert
He is Walter Goggins

Who remembers when Bert was in the band Ironica?
