except elon's point makes absolutely no sense, being banned on the biggest social network may not end someone's voice but it massively reduces it. Truth social is a joke and a nobody is on it, banning Trump is a huge hit to his voice. additionally, temp bans or perma bans, that fact is that someone still is being silenced so im not sure why he is pretending to be an extreme free speech advocate yet still supporting deleting tweets or temp bans, the end result is the same.

One thing I heard Elon say, and I don’t think he conveys it clearly in interviews, is if one out of every 5 billion people is Einstein then providing internet and simple infrastructure to every human increases the likelihood of finding another Einstein. Going to space and expanding our population to other planets will do the same. The problem is not over population but allowing the people with the genius to innovate and discover to be connected with rest of humanity. Elon Musk's sanity compass points true North. Bless him. I think we all need to focus more on these long-term values, and much less on the immediate satisfaction of our feelings and our senses. He doesn't think current CO2 level is a crisis, and he mind-blowingly stupidly rhinks the current human population of 8 billion is sustainable, when no knowledgeable ecologist agrees with him. Even when and if we transition to renewable energy, overfishing, deforestation, desertification, conversion of wilderness to agriculture, depletion of freshwater supplies, erosion of topsoil, plastic pollution, will all continue because it's far cheaper to degrade and exhaust natural resources than to do things sustainably. The funniest but sadly truest statement was about American labor, who wants everything for nothing. I work 12 hour days, 15 hour days, 20 hour days, 5 days 7 days any days all the time, because I love what I do. Watching TV and drinking a beer seem to me like the least satisfying way to spend time. I still find time to Bowl with my adult kids and when you have young kids it's best that you focus quality time on them, but, unless you are born incredibly smart and intelligent, working toward a dream, or many dreams from the "I have a few questions" inquisitiveness is the most satisfying life. I love Elon Musk. He actually cares about humankind. His whole approach is transparent and fully heard toward providing positive outcomes that change the world and society for the good. Truly with genuiness. An amazing human.

FT should be ashamed of themselves for this horrible quality of an interview. Instead of focusing on the achievements and future aspirations, they attack the man himself. No one is perfect in this world. This interviewer and FT are the reason why people view the world so negatively.

It's not a documentary, it's an interview. There's nothing wrong with challenging him with tough questions instead of "Wow you landed and reused a rocket!" "You've incredibly built the most dominant EV maker into the most valuable car company in the world!"; those aren't questions.

This interviewer is too cute for my taste. Not professional. Does he think he is on a Tinder date? Seems like he is unaware that the universe mistakenly gave him the opportunity to interview the most brilliant captain of a capital enterprise of our time.
If I ever got the chance to interview Mr.Musk I would be very professional and not interupt his responses one iota. In fact I would bask in a moment of silence after each response to a question of mine. I would also happily encourage any tangent he chose to pursue. It would be at the front of my mind that millions of humankind are absolutely fixated on his ideas and not me.
