Hi. I have looked at the tide charts when we will be at the big island this june. It will be low tide around 6am and high tide around 1pm. I have read that it is pretty shallow and is better to go to kahalu'u at high tide. I want to beat the crowd though. Would 8 or 9 be an ok time to go and have enough depth? I hope all this makes sense! Haha. Thank you!
I wouldn’t let the low tide keep you from your timeline. It just means there might be some areas that you can’t access as easily. The vast majority is unaffected
Hi, i really enjoy your videos and have learned a lot! I wondered if you know anything about Ho' okena beach park? Have you made a video about this beach? Thank you
Gosh! I’m so sorry you feel this way! Last year, we began looking for opportunities at schools where we could share our Christian faith openly and eventually got a job at a private school in Mauritius. I didn’t think I could come back to the school this fall, but was so excited when the principal said I could come until we left in November. Please know that I enjoyed every minute of my time there and all of the relationships made. I’m sorry that I don’t know who this is, but I am happy to connect privately if you would like. The internet is so great for that even half a world away. Just let me know!
@@AdventuresinAviators it’s ok it’s just there were some issues concerning counselors and stuff but it’s all good I hope your having a good time and I’m glad that you enjoyed working at our school.
Because the water is so shallow here, it's a good idea to check the tide charts and snorkel when it's close to high tide.
Love your narration
Thanks, Nate! I hope it was helpful
Great review and very helpful information! What kind of fish is that at 11:42?!? BEAUTIFUL! Thank you for sharing
I believe it is a yellow tailed coris wrasse. They are BEAUTIFUL but hard to photograph 😂
Haven't been there since 85, can't wait to go back this fall!
Would love to hear what you think!
I just cruised through that waters last night had a good feed on raw feesh left no crumbs however the water was colder then the norm tho. .
Such a great review and video!!! Thanks!

We've just visited here. you can see various fish anywhere, very close to shore.
