This is in my top 3 of RM’s songs in general! I ran to Paul Blanco’s profile in Spotify after hearing the track and I found diamonds. He got himself a fan, maybe thousands. I love how RM gave him the mic and didn’t stop him from shine. A true gem.
SAME! SAME! SAME! I've found at least 7-8 new favs from Blanco. This song was my favorite of the album, enough to be that one song you have to listen to completely if you ever accidentally catch it playing somewhere. Sorry, just had to comment, I love the song a bit too much :P

That's just my theory but the fact that they are 3 on the track and he talks about some sort of impossible love "if this all I can do, just looking at you, then stay where you are"...
Maybe he found himself in some sort of growing love interest who was already with someone and/or it just was a bad timing, so the love had to die out without even starting, and let go

In the army take, he's not talking as an artist but as a fan (verse1) "I'm never in your timeline" and maybe as him in his 2nd verse "stay where you are".
As he said, it's open to interpretations as he set the songs free, but also said don't go beyond what it is. I mean, if you relate to it in a romantic way do it, if you relate to it in a fan way do it too, but don't go speculating about his relationships mostly ^^UUU
