NGL, it would be cool to see both versions combined into an official release. Maybe starting the song with the old version, then ending it with the new version. I can totally see this version of these two songs being called something like "Fears" or something like that.
The new version hits much harder than the first one, the melody is the same for the chorus but I wanna run away feels a bit more relatable then i swear that im not scared
I got what you mean, that kick is a kind of build up for the chorus, however the new version gives a nostalgic punch right in the face with that piano and synth in the background, the new version is better produced btw. Both versions are cool, I still prefer the new one because he created the type of nostalgia that gives me goosebumps there and thats amazing
The second one is entire pitch change from the original so it might be possible that it just switches near the end of the song from the first version to what comes at the end
Old version is way better. I mean his name is BoyWithUke after all and when he doesnt use it, his name doesnt make that much sense anymore. The new version is not bad, I just wish hed use us Uke more again.
he uses uke in more then half his songs and uke is still in this song its just 30 seconds without it, just because its his main instrument doesnt mean he cant make music without it
@@loganlastname8651 There's a big, big difference between the 2. He used to just do layering. He uses autotune now. You can hear it very clearly in nosedive
@@Chasling_ In nosedive he did use autotune but i'm pretty sure in other songs her records the same lines in higher and lower pitches to make it sound like he's using autotune
I like how the new version has a emotional approach to the chorus, building up on regret and all that stuff
agree

Ngl THAT IS ACTUKLY GOOD. People keep saying to do stuff like that and I didn’t like the ideas. But this one would work
it actually is like that cuz In a lives few days ago he showed the song
@@haroldNstuff Thank makes me really excited for the song then-
I cant wait for boywithuke to release this album

@@anoushkadas5538 yes, we don’t know, and no. Eventually he’s gonna release an album.. it hasn’t been anounced or smth but I mean it’s pretty obvious

Im really happy we get both cause of the og version getting leaked
This song always makes me wanna cry and just puts me at ease..
I've never cried to a song before but this one makes me cry everytime
I’m back! Love your vids man. Going back to the oldies now.

In my opinion, the first one is better, but the new version is not bad, and has more emotional charge :)
the beat in the first one after the drop I prefer but I prefer the lyrics in the new one
New version is better. He can also now put the old im not scared lyrics in just a boy
fr
i think he did keep it
@@NeonPhyite The first lyrics are in earlier forms of just a boy, so its highly possible
Best boy with uke song ive heard in a while, please tell me this releases soon.
Aka multpile verses of the song
The new one is more sad than the old one . The old one is like a more pop version
Old version is so good I feel like the new version took away the hype

Same with hopeless romantic

to be honest i like the newer version more, it has a more sad feel to it and regret.
New versión Best
migranes will be part of im not scared?
I think both will be combined and the song name would be im not scared
The Bill Cosby one 😭💀
they are both just different parts of the song.
I like the first one
is so different
Hot take but I like the old more
Do the he’s got all he wants and lost everything X the new one that goes like tell me how to stop I wanna get off because they are the same sone

Moon guy is coming soon you see it at the moon and mask
New one better
ugh. the autotune. Why has he been using autotune :(
Isn't it just voice layering? He records the same lines multiple times in different keys and layers them on top of each other.
its layering!
