  • Van life travel Turkey - Join us as we live full time van life and travel around Turkey in our campervan Kev.
In this weeks travel vlog, we continue our journey through the amazing Turkey.
In this weeks episode we visit Mount Nemrut AKA Nemrut Dagi as well as getting Kev booked in at the garage which doesn't go to plan...
    About us...
Join us on our journey as we continue full time van life travelling around Europe in our self build / self converted Mercedes sprinter conversion camper van.
We are a family of 4 plus a German shepherd Dog and a rabbit that have left the UK to tour / travel Europe and beyond.
In December 2021 we got a 1 way ferry ticket across to Calais and darted through France straight to sunny Barcelona. We then worked our way around the Spanish coast including Gibraltar then into Portugal. We had hoped to get the ferry to Morocco to escape the Schengen zone but due to the ferry boarders staying closed to Spanish ferries, we decided to take the huge road trip to the first non Schengen country which was Croatia!
Along the way we visited Andorra, Monaco, Italy and Slovenia.
We stayed in Croatia for nearly 6 weeks before moving on to Montenegro for a week, then one of our favourite countries, Albania for 5 weeks.
We then took Kev on the ferry from Albania to Corfu to meet up with Lauras family for a week. We ended up staying in Corfu for 2 weeks but although its a fantastic holiday destination, we found it really hard for Van life. Being a small island it was very touristy and busy and there isn't many good park ups so we decided to hop back on the ferry and head to mainland Greece.
We spent a fantastic 2 weeks in Greece but by this point the weather was really starting to heat up and the temperature was reaching 40c which really isn't the one when living in a van...
We checked the weather for Bulgaria and it was a lot cooler so that was our next destination. Ritchies family flew out to see us and we spent a great 2 weeks with them. In total we stayed in Bulgaria for over 3 weeks but there was always 1 country on our mind and that's where we are now... The amazing Turkey!
We will be uploading videos weekly so please like and subscribe to help our channel grow.
We are new to blogging, filming and editing, already we have learned a lot from the first few edits and have realised what mistakes have been made so we can improve each week.
    Keep up to date

Another amazing video, bit of a mare with that first garage. Glad you found a good one in the end and you handled it brilliantly, as it’s never nice when things like that happen 👍

Thanks guys it was a stressful time, luckily got there in the end though and now he’s better than when we bought him 😂
It’s always horrible finding good garages.
Thanks for watching guys, I’m sure you’ll love next weeks video 😃

What a lovely family you lot are. Took it all in your stride. We got the back pads and disks done in Romania and it cost 200£. So 600£ for all the added extras is a good price. Currently back in the UK and it’s bloody depressing. So you are giving me a virtual holiday, thank you! 😅❤

Wow Mount Nemrut looks amazing and it seems you had it all to yourselves ! We sadly had to skip that one and continued on to where you are now :)
Glad to see Kev is sorted and believe me you will miss the Turkish prices when back in Europe - everything is so expensive, but yeah can be a headache to find a right guy for the job over there !

It was a great place guys, the roads were very steep and hard on the van but worth it!
Loved your cappadocia video, the drone footage especially was great 👌
We are not looking forward to leaving Turkey, we have got very use to these prices 😅 I’m sure it’s going to be a big shock when we leave.
      Thanks guys and safe travels

Thank you Stu, it’s all very daunting at the minute but we’re starting to get the hang of it. We are far from technical people 😅
It’s a real good one next week and can’t wait to share it.

Thank you Aunty tutu, it was the apartment that got us through this stressful time.
Everyone thinks that vanlife is beach park ups and sun sets but there’s a lot more that comes with it…
Thank you for watching, we really appreciate it

Hi Kevin the camper. Have been watching your videos for quite a while an loving them. Could I ask you who are you insured (van) with. ???

Hi Thomas, we are insured with Adrian flux and paid extra for 365 days European cover.
They don’t cover many of the Balkan countries or Turkey but you can buy additional insurance on each border.
      Thank you for watching
