The people who stay in their parents basement lost their only will to live and realized that they only had one thing left to do in life, However, touching grass was too hard for them. The ex-mods died in their gamer chairs with over millions of Reddit karma. A sad life indeed.

Man what are you on about? Most servers ALREADY have bots that do what Automod does automatically, it'd basically just an in built chat filter. That's all. I don't know why you're making it such an issue when this very thing has existed in different form long before.
@@Laiser My problem is that Discord in all likelyhood is going to either mandate or very, VERY heavily encourage automod be added to specific servers. The fact that the chinese company, Tencent, also holds majority share on Discord means that this will end up being a tool of censorship rather than (or along with) the advertised "time saver". Also, yes, there are bots that already do this, but they (again, in likelihood) will be attempted to be fazed out by Discord in some capacity. Bots not being owned by Discord is the point.

Theory: Every server is a city (like this egg city) and people can make folders that store multiple cities (like states) and when a person owns a lot of servers they have a country and discord is a galaxy of servers where they are the gods.

I'm pretty sure I've replied to you already but MOST SERVERS already have bots that do exactly what Automod does, it is literally just a built in word filter bot like MOST SERVERS already have. If a server doesn't want it, it won't use it. This is no different than what the majority of Discord servers are already doing, but this time its built-in.
@@Laiser The server doesn't get to decide if they use it or not, the single guy running the server does. That's what you don't get, the server isn't the guy running it, rather it's the entire community inside of it. The server DOESN'T want it, it's still there anyways though because one guy says it's there. . . and that's the problem. >_>
It's bad when it's third party, worse when it's first party.
All of this should ONLY be covered under parent controls on an account-based level, not a server-based level where it only serves to hurt means of communication.
