- Through courage and determination, our squad pulled off an incredible comeback at the King Power Stadium to beat Leicester City 6-2.
After going two goals down in the first half, we proceeded to score four goals in 12 minutes through Cloe Lacasse, Caitlin Foord, Alessia Russo and Victoria Pelova, before Stina Blackstenius and Lina Hurtig capped off the recovery with a fifth and sixth.

She's a Canadian gem, you def should check out her top benfica goals, she's running laps around defenders
Our most important signing, for me. She's extremely fearless. Just what we need against anybody, anywhere, top team or not. It's sad we aren't in the UWCL. She'd have provided a big challenge to any team there. My favorite of all the new signings.

All of the back 5 need changing. Chelsea will win the league easily. Second would be nice.
Our defenders are 2nd tier league defenders. Always conceded on set piece. Terrible. No clean sheet.
@@potentialswillrule Start with RB/LB. We need both position with high-speed players. Able to coup with the pace of the opponent wingers and stop the crossing or running behind defenders. Especially the RB are old and slow. Second, we still keeping Beattie? She also getting too old and slow. We need at least one aggressive and strong CB. Rafaelle was OK but she left. We need one CB like M.Bright or A.Greenwood or M.Eriksson that can be a leader and command at the back. To become a champion, first.... must have good defenders. MUST. All the champions have good defenders to start with.

That's the difference btn her and Russo, Russo tends to drop down too much to help the attack or carrying ball from the midfield which allows her to have limited time to be with opposing defenders.

Underrated player at Arsenal. Because Van Persie just too superior to him at that time. Him and Giroud always underrated at Arsenal. Because we always compared them to Van Persie, Henry, Wiltord, and other legends. Chamakh and Giroud are the top scorer in Ligue 1 before they came to Arsenal. Both of them far better than Lacazette tbh. At least they scored more based on number of games ratio.

Wow. In the first half everything just felt wrong, but the second half was amazing. I was so happy when we got one back, but wanting more, and honestly I was so overjoyed when Alessia slotted it in to make it 2-2 and I thought we were done. But clearly we weren’t, and instead kept going to produce the one of the happiest second halves of my life, it was mental.
The way we treated the Leicester girls in the second half is how you react to the setbacks in the first half. That spanking will now send fear across the WSL that The Arsenal will not tolerate disrespect.😜👍🔥🔥❤️💪😛👏.

@@samuelanthony2439truth is, this is exactly how ruthless this squad should have been from Day 1. The squad depth and quality is such that the entire WSL should be afraid. Hopefully, this 2nd half performance becomes the norm, not the exception. Just look at the injured players we have coming back, added to what we already have. This squad is probably the deepest in the league.
Russo is very reliable when it is a split second opportunity and extremely high pressure. Her goal in this was high pressure in that moment.
I think all the opposition coaches have noticed we are playing a LB as RB ... McCable was out of position for both the goals we conceded.Maritz must start the next game.
I don't like her there. She should be left back but Jonas is in love with Steph Catley.

If VAR were to check it and draw the margins, yes. I have to admit. I think coz player checks back into an onside position the refs allowed the goal. It's a classic pre-VAR goal I guess.

What is the strength of each our trio strikers? 1- Stina is like Lukaku. She has speed, strength and stamina. Most energetic player in the squad. When the game is wide open, Stina is the best option for the number 9. She can run behind defenders 30 yards from the box with her pace and physical strength. 2- Russo is very clinical finisher especially in tight space when the opponent plays low blocks. If the opponent parks the bus, Russo is the best option. And Russo also good in link up play plus very good finding space for header from the set pieces/crosses or corner kick. So, Stina attack from outside of the box and Russo a better striker inside the box. We need both of them. 3- Viv is like combination Stina+Russo. She is a striker who prefer to be outside or close to the edge of the box, but Viv is very clinical from her powerful and accurate long strike from there. And Viv also very good in link up play. Better than Russo. But lately before her injury, she seems comfortable played as no 10 than no 9. She doesn't look interested to play at the front anymore as when she started her professional career. Maybe she gets bored score too many goals. Haha...
