That is correct. I have hike probably 100 miles in segments of the NCT in 6 states and want to do more! It is a truly amazing hike and ohhh if I'd had found it earlier in life I may have been crazy and tried to thru hike it all!!

FYI-side trip on the path to UP. The North Country Trail National Headquarters is in Lowell, MI. The trail goes through town and town has more to see.

Waterfalls in the woods is always a pleasant hike. I love seeing them
