And look I thought when I started the hobby that I could put whatever fish in whatever size tank but i realized fish of different species need different things arowana at least need a 120 gallon tank since they can grow up to three feet if you're going to keep one if you dont have the space or money then dont buy one instead try arowana tetra or some cichlids if you want some predators the best thing you could do for it now would be to donate it or give it a bigger tank

To those complaining, it is actually recommended to give a silver arowana feeder fish, though not primarily and it is recommended you breed them yourself to ensure they are healthy. Also, it is very common for them to be "fussy" eaters and it's extremely uncommon for them to accept pellets. Live fish may be the only thing this arowana will eat. I do agree however that the tank is probably a little small.

Nice video... All my arowanas are in natural pond no filter, only water pumped for irrigation.. they are in really good shape.. not one have drop eye.. they even eat rice and boiled eggs. My fish love the natural atmosphere

That will lead to bad health, also Goldfish are fatty and probably a reason why this Aro has Drop Eye (build up of fat behind the eye lid). I feed mine pellets, dried shrimp, blood worms and only once or twice a month, Guppies.

I only brought a aro week or 2 ago at about 4.5in he's now 6 easy.so I don't know exactly how old he is but he's in a 80Lx30Wx25H inch tank the rate he's growing he should be around 14inch by the new year.no I don't have any videos of him yet but I will put some up soon

Roys Motovlog feeder fish is fine but it shouldn’t be it’s only source of food. Goldfish are terrible feeders, very fatty (fat build up causes drop eye!) and normally they are poorly bred and prone to parasites/disease which can spread to the predator fish. I feed my Aro shrimp currently and it will also eat flake food as well.
Wrong some people do keep feeder fish as pets. They're cheap and easy to care for and have suprising personalities. I have Rosy red minnows and guppies. I want to get some goldfish too in a different tank. But the 13 cent Rosy reds are by far my favorite.
