I remember one evening I was sitting at home and heard a Boom Boom sound from far away entering the room .... I went to the balcony and I knew there was something happening not so far away .. so I put on my white leather pants .. sunglasses on although it was already late in the evening .. there was a warm breeze .. it was mid summer .. I stepped inside my purple mini cooper which I drove at that time .. and followed the Boom Boom sound ... at one moment I saw a group of people on bicycles, they looked like they were heading for a party .. so I followed them with my mini .. at one moment they drove further on a bicycle track into nature .. my mini was so small so I could go where no other car could go .. the Boom Boom sound came closer .. and I found out there was a rave under a viaduct from a part of the freeway what was nomore in use .. I parked my car in the middle of the 'dancefloor' ... when I returned to my car an hour later .. there was a couple kissing on the backseat and one guy in the front was preparing a big joint .. people where dancing around the car ... wow such a marvelous time .. We called this sound Acid back then .. and Charlottes style reminds me completely of this.
Calling her on of the best DJs in the world?? Her sets consists monstly out of the same numbers and there is hardly any DJing. I'd say she is a poor DJ with a nice track selection.
Charlotte's outdone herself. One of the deepest trance-inducing sets I've heard in a while. I appreciate Charlotte most for the subtle nuances that make her her.. baggy tee and jeans, eternal wind in her hair and a minimalist sense of flare. As soon as one hears the rockets soar overhead, one knows we are in for a treat tonight.

Americans won’t be able to compensate for the gap in development of electronic music that has been set for the last decades. They will try to compensate by bringing in the masses to commercialized EDM parties in the states but you can sense their immaturity towards electronic music. It’s just not in their culture no matter how much commercialism they will throw into it.
