- I’m Phil Lockwood and I’m going to read my brand new children’s picture book called My Family Is My Home. This book is perfect for younger children who may be dealing with various emotions relating to constant moving or traveling, whether that’s due to having parents who, like us, choose to explore the world voluntarily, or for frequent job changes, military service, or any other scenario that prevents a consistent, stationary lifestyle. I personally believe that stressing a “family first” focus with children can help ease the burdens of constant moving and I wrote this story accordingly.
