@@fenlandfarmingadventures4241 little sods will decimate it in no time at all, grow a fair bit of sheep/cattle feed down here in Cornwall, not unusuall to give it a couple of sprays
Oh god might have another go then 😂 was only to feed sheep on so hopefully fills out soon and we get couple of mid teens temperature’s. We’ve had enough rain now 😂
Some nice kit there... a bit big maby but ok looking.. you'd spend all winter changing wearing metal to.. 😅.. im stumped on what you were needing apart from a muck grab that didnt weigh 4t itself 😂 or maby a UTV ? .. krm front press looked ok but required some remedial welding 😊.. thanks for another tag along to sales i dont get to.. always nice comparing prices .. stay safe 🏴
Cheers buddy yeah never know what bargains were there 😂I bud on the box of vaderstad bit the fert spinner and the 18ton HMtrailer but no joy 😂I got me muck folk the other day but haven’t filmed it yet
Yep, Dalham Hall Estates. My dad worked there for 50 years or so. It only covered about 2.5k when he was there but in recent times they farmed about 7.5k. Mark Lake, who managed it retired recently. I can remember when he started! Shiek Mohamed owns the land now. New contractors have been bought in now. Based in Wickhambrook I think. I spent so many happy years on those acres as a kid.
how times have changed.......a couple years ago real good secondhand stuff was making nearly new money now it's strugling to make half new money......that second combine didn't seem big money cos it wasn't that old was it. and those quadtracs ........blimey there way down on what they cost new........looks like people's patience is running out on the arable side. ........down this way it's more livestock farming.........that.s holding up better
Yeah they have realised kit isn’t worth the cost hey. The combine was rough tho needed a lot of tidying up mate. The quadtrack needed all new middy wheels I think but still 😂
Thanks Chris and yes the bubble has started to burst I think 🤔 that quadtrack might have been 3/400k new and then struggling to get 50/60k for it so no one can afford that kinda depreciation. Jd is prime example a new trailed sprayer is like 140k for some plastic and box section
Does get very scary mate yep I’m fortunate enough to be having a few good potato years so treating myself to a few bits like new spud boxes and I’m still kicking myself tbh about not buying one of them 18ton trailers to update another one of mine 😂🤦🏽♂️
If there were docks under solar pannels how can you have flowers and sheep grass without spraying ? The docks were in my meddows before the solar
awsome video Daniel👍
Thanks buddy
Good vid😊
Thanks mate
turnip saw fly larvea, barsteward things
Just chewing the goodness right outta the plant 🤦🏽♂️I wouldn’t normally spend money on cover crops but a little won’t hurt

@@fenlandfarmingadventures4241 What's a muck folk ?🤣 🥴 🤔 .. though the trailer was very tidy.. Out of my prices but very clean.. 👍🏻
I would have bought that quadtrac for that price! Some bargains there I’ll have to come to a sale with you one day
😂😂😂 trouble with all that kit was, all for big tractors and big fields so stuff nobody wanted 😂
@@fenlandfarmingadventures4241 all stuff I could use though! Would just have to load it on a boat and get it here!

What going happen when they abandon SFI and there fields are full of weeds and will have no kit to deal with it as it's all been sold overseas
Typical auction everything starts of real cheap and you think your going to get a real bargain but it keeps creeping on and on .
I bid on a few things mate and yep could’ve got a right ear full when I got home 😂😂😂
Seriously weak brew there!
😂😂just how I like it tbh mate. Mrs farmer always moans about my weak tea 😂
