Suzuki AK 50cc 70s moped (AP) with very dim lights and an air filter restrictor

The bike was unrideable in the dark as the lights were so weak so i fitted a replacement LED bulb with a little modification. The bike wouldn't start so i had a look at the carburettor and removed the airbox restrictor.
