There's very good reason why the new shape Corsa is 2022's best selling car so far! If you're interested in getting one our vehicle experts are here to help 👍 bit.ly/3soFVbF
you want a quicker more powerful car then go spend the money on a sportier model. this car is obviously designed to be cheaper and more affordable to people with smaller budgets. it's a nice little car for what it is.
I'm 6 feet tall, and cannot see into my driver's side mirror unless I headbang every time I want to see if something is coming. Had to buy 2 goddamn blindspot mirrors.
as a owner of a corsa vxr and been a ex owner of previous vauxhall gsi this corsa gsi makes no sense at all .underpowered overpriced rubbish.its a shame they didnt refine the vxr the gsi badge used to mean something
Hi James, thanks for noticing this. Vauxhall identified petrols as the biggest seller in this sector, and have spent considerable time, effort and money on getting this engine up to scratch. It’s paid off with a balancer shaft that ensures it keeps out most vibration, hum and noise, as well as that familiar grating harshness. It's a fairly quite ride for a car from this sector.
Corsa sri vx line 1.4 turbo. 100bhp Is very good on fuel with the 6speed manual gearbox and you get the perforance as well plus you get the sporty looks with the 3door version. And cheap to insurance. Defo the one to buy without having to splash alot of cash out
The rear space in this five door model at 4:19 ? .... I think it was actually a three door model you were reviewing !! .... Don't give up your day job, maybe just leave it to the other guys who know the difference.
Dreadful review about a dreadful car, I think this presenter was definitely reading from the brochure, especially when he was going around the roundabout, didn’t even look where he was going as he had to keep reading the Corsa brochure obviously propped up on the dashboard, that Corsa was based on a very old Corsa from early 1990’s with a 1.4 engine from the 80’s and yet people still bought them?
I own this car 2018 version And I haven’t had any problems at all and I’ve had it for a year and a half now very reliable and easy to drive decent space at the front and the back I have 6ft friends and they’ve said it’s ok don’t judge a book by it’s cover
As has long been a British tradition, the comments here seem to consist of knocking anything because it's British! People should think such biased, slanted views don't do anything for famous brand's reputations - and can cost sales, and therefore JOBS in our country! The attitude in the German-speaking countries (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) is directly OPPOSITE. They BIG their products UP, to the point of bragging!
@@nygelmiller5293 Vauxhall has been 100% Opel since the late 70's early 80's every components is German designed and engineered. GM hated the idea of having the exact same cars produced in different countries and sold in separate dealerships in the UK (Vauxhall/Opel), they tried to stop it back in the early 80's but as the UK car industry was a huge mess that ended up killing itself by striking and demanding all sorts of benefits out of ailing companies... The madness resulted in the near demise of the British auto industry. Well, to be fair the cars weren't very good quality nor design either 😂 But i have to admit that i liked the Rover 75 when it came out under the BMW management, but i had huge dubts about the quality... Personally I've been sticking with Japanese and lately with the Korean brands, total peace of mind and cheap motoring.
The tilt and slide action of the front seats, makes getting into the back a piece of cake! Best I've seen!
Great wee car, but very spacious and reliable.
Not overpriced like other motor brands.

I have never owned a corsa, but I took a ride in a friends one, and it was smooth and comfortable and seemed well made

Nice point, thanks for watching!

Not a mention of the depreciation/discount that you get with a Vauxhall compared to a Ford or VW group car
Thanks for the feedback, we will pass this on to our review team.
Fords don’t hold their value that well

Why no mention of noise levels?

OSV I used to drive a corsa, and it was near silent I could barely hear the engine
Bit dangerous to be reading whilst driving, but nice review.
Thanks for the feedback. We can assure you that safety is our number one concern 👍
@@rivervalegroup and your top safety concern is reading on the dashboard while driving?
The corsa is a nice car, but all corsa feel very underpowered.
Hi Tom, thanks for the comment. The VXR variant is quite a dive if you were looking for more performance from a Corsa.

Hi Paul, all our reviews are heavily researched and 100% unbiased. We are not paid by any manufacturers to review their vehicles favourably.
A rubbish brand that was sold to an even more rubbish brand (PSA) i would be very careful with buying a new car from Opel(Vauxhal)...
Those cars are very reliable
