Love this song so much! My husband and I were both crying while watching this song together, we both remembered our parents, ourselves and our daughter. My husband lost his Mom, and I lost my Dad, we only can hope that our 3yo daughter will get a chance to see us growing old together, and one day when she’s older she will see us like how Jax sees her parents. Everytime I hear this song it brings me to tears!! I wish my Dad was still hear cause I would play this for him!! He loved my Mom so much even though they weren't together when he passed. He lived in NC while my Mom & us kids lived in WV but the week he died he was going to come here to get my Mom back & have his family back together with her & us kids!! September the 2nd made 20 years he's been gone!! This song is so beautiful & makes me think about him because all I ever wanted was a man like my father, he was my everything & I was Daddies girl!! Finally I got one & we been together 9years, if only my Dad was here to see/meet him & his grandkids!! 😢💖

I’m 40 and never married because I believed there were no men like my daddy, before he passed you would catch him starring at my mom, she would shyly say, What? And he would say You are the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen, how did I get so lucky with tears. This happened often ❤️ Well a few months before I lost my mom I found a man like that! This song is our relationship & why I never married waiting for him. THIS is what I love about music. As a trained musical theater singer, I in a kind way recognize her voice has a lot of technical things that could be improved. Like continous note stability or vibrato.
All, that said though, her ability to implement impact by using volume control is truly amazing and so beautiful to listen to. The way she goes from a raspy mid belt, to a whisper, back to a full power belt is simply stunning. You can have the fastest and trickiest runs in the business, but volume control and naturally being able to fade out your own voice is not something easily taught. It's honestly almost haunting

This is probably why she turned out so well, so emotionally well-adjusted, just so good at relating to people. Because it is said that every relationship we have mirrors the relationship that we have with our parents, which is influenced by the relationship they have with each other. But that kind of chemistry and later devotion cannot be controlled. There's an element of fate. I wish everyone was meant for a relationship like this, but I don't think we all are meant for smooth sailing. Some people are meant to have dramatic lives, because variety is the spice of life, and God is watching us like TV shows.
