Back in the day i would have loved the second haf of that first set. Havent been to a show since first Fenway. Saw around 200 shows, been watching your post show vids, thinking about going to denver this year. Thanks for doing these.
this was my first ever phish show I saw it with my dad. I think it might have been so fun of a setlist because it was chris' birthday. It was awesome maybe best day of my life
I know B&R is alot if folks beerun piss break buzzkill song, those sweet Beach Boys harmonies speak to me on a deep level..I'm always down for the rare Brian & Robert
Alternate lyrics to cities too. "Whole lot of bad points". That down with disease Jam after all of the lyrics were over was one of the most intense sessions I've ever witnessed firsthand. That jam blew my mind.
The energy at the show was so fun. The absolute highlight was the continually peaking, frenetic glory of the antelope shred to close out the night. Silent/horse was beautiful. Llama full of energy. Ya mar was bouncing. Drums in good times bad times were thunderous
I love the fact that you love my friend my friend.. Brian and Robert are not a couple of jerks. The horse-silent in the morning should not be overlooked.
Straight up Trey rock fest! Super polished, technically precise comfort zone Phish. Are they recording a live album or something? Still looking for that fat, exploritory, playing off each other, caution to the wind, dark and funky epic jam! Tonight was the opposite of that.
Looks like Trey's old rig too, w the Mesa Boogie head on top and a custom head below? Anyway, capo's are good for tightening up the tone esp on an acoustic and giving a player those open strings "bluegrass" pull-offs in different keys other than G major or E major, for ex. Tone is a lifetime journey... These are Helping and Friendly reviews since I can't be there...Thanks!
@@jimreplicant It can give more of high-midrange to an acoustic ala the mandolin. But yeah, in general, that is 99% of a capo's use-like you said- to change the key without changing a chord shape.
I think your recap is a little low energy...dude that first set was NASTY, i have seen 150+ shows, that was dope....first set atleast, almost a 30min My friend.. the first set they were so cohesive. ok, my last shows were 3mights at united center, not super amazing, but still, maybe not the jam quality for you, but some choice was dope
Any noticeable improvement in the lights to celebrate CK5s own birthday? No Backwards was interesting. A 46 set 1 closer and now opener that’s interesting. MFMF is one of my top 10 of all time so a jammed out version will always hit the STAB spot for me Yet another great show. They are 5 for 6 now to me which is amazing and even the dud night 2 of Mansfield was still decent. Very solid playing they really practiced before this tour and we hear the difference. I’m waiting on a IAWITW Lizards and of course Col Forbins tomorrow is always a hope. Trey was on fire tonight Mercury one of my favorite new ish sonfs but I agree this one was like my only live experience of it at Peterson 2017. That night was all about the Mr completely and Caspian Ghost and MFMF won the jams of the night and ya Mar I love that bohemian jam makes me wanna fish literally spelled normally My best Brian and Robert was teased in a cool antelope at MPP MD 6 27 2010 one of my favorite attended shows of my now 40 it is like 6th best As cool down songs go. I like a loner song like lonely trip or Brian and Robert. We can’t all be extroverts like most phish fans
Show was slightly only half full. That's probably why the crowd didn't seem to pumped. However it did sound good. All the way to the back. Better than any 90s show. I brought my 7 year old son. He had a great time. This cashless show stuff is bs. I am not going to be giving them any money if that's how they want to do business.
What are you doing to create an unsafe environment for children? Maybe you should watch your behavior in public. I would not take him to the Mann. As someone who was there in the 80's and saw the dead. That place is a picnic. I don't tell you what to do. Stfu
That is easily the best setlist I’ve seen phish lay down in about 6 years
Bold statement🤘🏼 not disagreeing by any means. I had fun
Show was sick, everything about it
In 6 yrs? 😂 Mike says no
C’ mon. No. Unless you were there, then i can understand a little
Easy sonny boy...

Horse to Antelope : Gen X dream ❤🎉
Thanks Kev!
@@claredogyo533 Horse - Silent is such a reminder of how good Rift is and how much I had that album on repeat in the ‘90s.
At the show last night, old school 90s setlist took me back! My Friend, Cities, dwd we’re very good! Ghost and Silent were tremendous!!
46 days I noticed was very tight. It was the only song I caught (free on RUclips). Great recap brother 💥
Thx man! Always a good watch! N2 picks.... horn, simple, maze, vultures, lizards. New song. Turtles in the sky
Never get tired of limb by limb, old favorite you don’t hear often. Thanks for your videos 👊
Alternate lyrics to cities too.
"Whole lot of bad points".

DWD was kinda epic imo. Those jams were travel inducing and I was like “Are we still in DWD?” Defo took me for a ride on it! Ready for night 2! LFG!!!

This looks like the best set list in years!!!!! Maybe the P Hish is back!!!😮
They never went anywhere!
I love the fact that you love my friend my friend..
Brian and Robert are not a couple of jerks.
The horse-silent in the morning should not be overlooked.

Twas' a fire set
Boom. But the lack of enthusiasm has me a little worried. Go Phish!
Are we over looking the my friend, dwd, ghost sweet jams mercury was nice also the 46 days relaxed notes set a pace. N2 going to be tight.
Straight up Trey rock fest! Super polished, technically precise comfort zone Phish. Are they recording a live album or something? Still looking for that fat, exploritory, playing off each other, caution to the wind, dark and funky epic jam! Tonight was the opposite of that.
Didn’t hear them but I love Horse and Silent in the Morning. Anybody at the show have some commentary on them?
That whole show was absolutely nuts, incredible
Straightforward but always welcome!
Energy was through the roof

Generally a capo is used to play songs in a different key without having to relearn the song in the other key. Its not really a tone thing
@@jimreplicant It can give more of high-midrange to an acoustic ala the mandolin. But yeah, in general, that is 99% of a capo's use-like you said- to change the key without changing a chord shape.
I guess I’ve never heard capo pronounced that way. I kinda like it.
From setlist alone it doesn't get much better imo.
N2
PYTIE, NMINML, Col. Forbin/Mockingbird, TMWSIY, Twist, Possum
Trey playing like his mom told him to clean his room today.
gonna be at deer creek?
CAP-o? Bro.
nice

Picks for night 2
Turtle in the Clouds
Lawn Boy
Saw it Again
Foam
Birds of a feather
I thought it was Cape-O not Cap-O? Is that a geographical pronunciation?
EVEN THOUGH I LOVE CITIES & GOOD TIMES BAD TIMES, I THOUGHT THIS SHOW WAS AVERAGE? ☮️🎸🙏

I believe, It’s pronounced “Kay-Poe “
I've heard Cop O and Cap O but never K Poe
Pretty sure it’s pronounce CAYYY PO

Leave your 7 year old at home.

Where has THIS been since 2019?????? Maybe they got the hint. "Hey, it might be a GOOD idea to play songs people know and love". Genius!!!!!!
Brian and Robert😂 Little Jerks.
Meh
