I always thought it was really dumb that the Minnesota Timberwolves forced him to play the four like they reduced his role so much to just catch and shoot threes like he’s really good at attacking the rim but when you have Rudy Gobert on your team and makes it really fucking hard to get any space in the paint. Of course you’re not gonna average nearly as many points plus Anthony Edwards is feeling this now since he can barely attack the rim and that’s why he’s shooting up insane amount of threes. Honestly LOW the Timberwolves should’ve traded KAT to Utah for Lauri Markkanen instead. With Markkanen they get a young player who can push the pace and score (his 3pt shooting is not to the level of KAT, but it’s still something to respect) they save some major cap room, and he can play the 3, 4 position. It may have costed them an extra player and a pick to get him, but I feel Markkanen would be a much better fit than Randle.
Knicks are currently 26-15 and the wolves are 21-18. Not to mention Ant has been in a slump and we’ve lost a few games that we literally threw away. It’s too early to say something like this cmon now.
