Sur la colline Mamaiev. Une musique Allemande, dans sanctuaire Russe. Elle sert la gorge, et donne envie de prendre une gigantesque pelle, pour s'enterrer avec l'humanité entière, sous la couverture de la honte et du désespoir. La même musique, mais des circonstances et des sentiments complètements opposés.
Back in WW2 in the Auschwitz concentration camp.. there once was a little chapel. The people that could play an instrument where spared from death so they could play music for the staff of the camp.. One evening in winter, it was snowing outside and Joseph Mengele entered the barracs and said he wishes this song to be played on piano and on chello. Can you imagine that? Its so weird to listen to this beautiful piece of music while thinking about that.
Have you listened to Marcel Johannes Kits? He seems to be exceptional (not as good as you, of course!) He is on youtube and sometimes under Jekathrina or something like that - Americans don't know how to spell very well - just Candadians and those from Israel. I appreciate all of you work - don't even think about giving up - I know where Toronto is!!
