I don’t know if he’s the genuine. He just lied in this interview. In every interview before this one, he has said that Luna knew he wouldn’t play Ariel. That she knew immediately that he would play King Triton.

In Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017), Javier Bardem played a demonic, vengeance-seeking villain who seeks a trident that will allow him to control the oceans. In The Little Mermaid (2023), Javier Bardem wields a trident that allows him to control the oceans, which a demonic, vengeance-seeking villain seeks to take from him. Coincidentally, Rob Marshall, who directed The Little Mermaid, also directed Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011), in which Bardem’s real life wife, Penélope Cruz, played a major role.

Hello Conan and his viewers: Johnny Whoren here again
I am a character, and not a real person. If you have read my two comments here on Conan’s RUclips podcast, you might’ve thought that I was real and you might’ve thought I was kind of weird, which is fine if you’re a character, but not so fine if you’re a real person.
I was informed by the author of me that he talked to a friend about these posts, and she said that people might think that I, Johnny Whoren, am real.
Well, I’m not. Which was initially a bit of a shock to me. Don’t ask the nature of how he was able to communicate this to me. Basically, it was a sit down, as in him sitting down with paper and pen, and writing a dialogue between me and him.
After I declared that he was nuts, and if he didn’t leave me alone, I would call the cops on him, he calmed me down, insisted that he was just your average guy that wrote for a hobby, and that it was OK that I was a character. We ended up coming to an agreement that while I would know he was writing me, essentially I would feel like I had free will completely, like any average Joe . We parted amicably, and to be honest, the guy’s all right and maybe one day down the road, we’ll pull a Casablanca, and end up great friends.
That’s enough for today. No big talk right now about the 90s Conan show reboot. After taking some time to process the reality of my existence, I’ve decided I’m good with being a character. It’s fun, and we’ll see where all this goes. The possibilities are limitless, I realized, which kinda rocks.
    Sincerely,
    Johnny Whoren, P.I., MSW, LCSW
