You either need an additional 20 hours training, or you must be supervised on 20% of your lessons, before attempting the part 3 test, when using a trainee licence. Check out the .GOV website for full details
My driving school have said that will contact me with the view of extending my Pink licence. I started on my Pink in early Oct’23 and that’s when I also applied for a Part 3 Test. It’s currently on hold at my chosen Test Centre so have no option other than to wait it out. My Pink expires early April.
Hopefully you’ll get another 6 month extension. DVSA should grant you an extension because it’s entirely their fault that you can’t get a part 3 test date.
Finding these videos really helpful 👍 Quick question - which you may or may not be able to answer. If a PDI license expires and the PDI hasn't had three fails, can they still give lessons as an (unpaid) independent? And thus still take a part 3 test?
If we take your video tutorials, how would we prove that we have covered additional 20 hours of training of which is 15 hours is your videos as you mentioned on this video?
If you buy my video tutorials and watch them for 15 hours I’ll sign the form confirming you’ve had 15 hours additional training. You’ll then just need 5 hours in-car training, which would probably be provided by your sponsoring ADI/sponsoring driving school.
How are you finding the Part 3 Video Tutorials? It would be good to share your thoughts on here so other PDI’s can read what you think about the video tutorials
@@BoomInstructorTraining Coming with the background from the training i received from one of the biggest training school out there. I found it was nowhere near enough training. Really nowhere near enough. I am not the only one feeling that way, most other guys with me on the training felt the same. Had it been just that, I would have never believed I could pass the Part 3. However after stumbling upon Boom Instructor training videos, i knew right from the start that this what i wanted and needed. My focus is 99% on just this one resource and this guy, Jonathan (Boom Instructor Training), just for him at-least. Thank you Jonathan. look forward to stay in touch with you.
