black metal bands from the 80s, 90s and ealry 2000s should take note on this album and start releasing their raw cd mixes, tracks and rehearsals, this is a great idea, only instrumental just like the album from the darkest past from mayhem hail werewolf
In my humble opinion, all black metal resumes to this, carelian satanist madness is for me the epitome of black metal. I love you Werwolf (no homo xD). Hail Satanic Warmaster!!!!!!
Finally, I can share this with my old school friends who just said it way just raa raa raa Fuck... this and 2014 memories in year 10, 16 years old... good times.
Thank you for posting this man. Been looking for some good instrumental straight BM albums, not single tracks, for a while now. Leave it to Satanic Warmaster to deliver \m/
You can't put any single album above all others IMO... BUT YES.. It is as good as BM can be,and a true classic of Finnish BM..! I personally just couldn't put my fave albums in order like that, and wouldn't, as I don't see any point in doing so. Black Metal is ART, and therefore subjective. Also Black Metal is NOT a popularity contest.. Werwolf has made several great albums, splits etc.
My heart continuously swells and shatters during every single ripping note of Carelian satanist madness. In A. Root...III...II ...root...V...ROOT. Thank you so much forever every note on this album and this title track specially
i just recently got the standard version of the album, and this version now is a great chance to appreciate it at a different angle. thank you for uploading this! \m/ \m/
It’s a dangerous realm of thinking to get into too… In 50 or 200 years from now, is metal just supposed to change to something like deathcore because so many things have already been done? I cant get behind that way of thinking. Some things will sound similar. Some guitarists or drummers etc may never even heard _ band or their song titled _ Then they write something pretty similar, and later after releasing are told they ripped off that bands song. Idk it all just seems dumb. I’m new to guitar and learning. Ive listened to a lot of black death & thrash all my life. In a year or two when i begin recording my own guitars. how tf am i supposed to know if some other guitarist/band did something that is structurally and audibly similar yeah i just dont give a damn. if it’s a total legit ripoff, it’d be quite obvious. as another commenter said too, it could even be influenced by… which is not a bad thing. & if we’re to compare, tbh, True Blackness slays Deathcrush imho. & I’m a huge fan of early Mayhem
Nothing wrong with paying tribute to an iconic band's riff. Darkthrone did it all the time. Black metal is a very tradition-based genre, it makes sense that bands would quote each other
0:00 - The Vampiric Tyrant
4:56 - True Blacknes
9:00 - 666
13:57 - Carelian Satanist Madness
22:05 - My Dreams of 8
26:54 - Eaten by Rats
30:34 - My Kingdom of Darkness
34:54 - Blessed be, the Grim Arts!

Who plays guitar on this?
justin bieber
Werwolf on lead and T.H. on rhythm according to metallum
True Blackness = Deathcrush copycat :V
Definitely not. Sounds similar cuz fingers are placed similarly on guitars at some parts. Calling it a ripoff cuz that is stupid
Influenced by, maybe, but not a ripoff
