Slidebean: Startups 101 Hi Slidebean, I created a global site for WeWork members globally to feedback at wefeedback.co It might be useful for us to feature your contents on the site. Is that okay?
I wish all people who come to RUclips looking for good and honest content about entrepreneurship would find your videos really. I wish you all the best!
Watching the evolution and growth of this channel has been awesome. And I'm happy to let you know that you are who I turn to when I have questions about my startup.
i also am startup founder, i can feel pain/hard work we need to put in, sometimes it's way too much, sadly i am way remote to meet those founders and have experience with them but it's great to see videos dedicated to this.
2:51 Twice the team does not = twice the productivity. Tell me about it. After we raised our Series A, we doubled our team from 20 to 45 and it was a nightmare for that first year. We scaled far too fast, had to scale back, and reign things in. Turns out you can't just throw bodies at a problem and hope it goes away!
Oh man, I identify 100%. Built an agency team 50-strong, and after years as founder and CEO, I've just left a partner of mine in the CEO position, with me in a more support role. I agree 100% with all points. Good luck. Love your videos.
I have lived a life of unbelievable stress and suffering when I was running my startup. I have lost a lot of hair. The problem is you have to learn to do everything and anything. You are handling things perfectly though. I can't say the same for me.
Finding your content has been super refreshing, soo many entrepreneurship channels are style over substance AND over reality so what you're doing is more inspiring to me than those other channels could ever be! Thanks, keep it up!
When I started watching companies failed videos, I thought that you're a video editor guy hired by this company Slidebean to promote their product. Later on, finding out that it's your way to create a marketing channel for your own child product. Amazing! I can totally relate to that. With the dream of having a company one day, it's inspiring to watch your talks. Spoiler from the future. Thanks for taking the time to record them 🙌
EXCELLENT, again... your super-informative & honest videos have been incredibly helpful, as I've been learning how to develop & launch my startup (app) in lockdown, from my kitchen, while working from home on my full-time day job. it's tough but already feels all worth it !! thanks Caya.
Been watching your videos for almost a year now and absolutely love it. I think beginner entrepreneurs like myself can really connect with you because you are very transparent and honest about your own struggle.
Maaan I love to hear you talk about startups, I think I watched all of your videos just in a few days, it's certainly my favorite RUclips chanel nowadays. It's not exaggerated, it's real and sincere (mostly this video) , i wish I I could get an mentoring meeting with you someday.
Hello, I could not give you enough props that would equal the value your video's provide. I have had a few startups that mostly just happened out of necessity and definately made lots of mistakes. I am on my 3rd startup (tech Startup) and focused on not repeating my previous mistakes, looking through google i found your channel... awesome work-- I will continue to view your videos. Keep up the great work..
dude, you were just a guy who made well ressearched videos on the internet i thought, now i know you are part of the world you are reporting for us the outsiders... you saying that you earned 800 dollars a month in costa rica and thats your start makes me exciting for the future... thank you for sharing!
Having a company is like having a family -- you are constantly thinking about "how do I make sure that our needs are well provided and that we still progress".
Totally unrelated, but sometimes when I watch your videos while my baby is fussy, he gets calmer. So I think your voice kind of calms him... So thank you, I guess?
Love your honesty bro. Keep doing what you do. Its an inspiration. I learned so much from these videos while starting my own company. Million thanks for that.
Jose, I just discovered your channel a couple of months ago. And I like your content. This time you make me remind my last years, I'm totally agree with you. I'm still building my way, you area a great inspiration too. Thanks again.
Seriously, GREAT content! Not too often, always simple and well-produced, and you have an engaging delivery. PLEASE keep talking about your experiences, failed startups, your passion projects, and other topics that strike your fancy. I look forward to the inevitability that we're going to hear from your team, too! Sounds like you've got both the drive and humility necessary to succeed.
This is one of the few channels where I see a new video and I make sure I watch, keep producing more valuable content and we will be watching till we reach 1 million subscribers. You deserve it
This is absolutely awesome! As a founder of a startup, I can completely relate to so much of this and the same with the other founders that we interview on our channel.
I fucking love your videos! Been watching them and following you for a year now! Have learnt so much! And I’m using them in my companies! I live the transparency! I love how much you are down to earth and I can tell you are going through the same struggles as us! I don’t know how to thank you! I really owe you for your help with this info!
Wow, thanks for that Caya. I run my own business in Australian which has been successfully, im now creating a new business and could not agree with enough about you thoughts. Im a new subscriber and I'm finding your video of great value. Thanks DG
Watching this video, showed me that I am not alone and finally there is something that relates. Loved the video. Hardest part is to surround yourself with smart people if you are a CEO.
Probably my new favourite channel in RUclips. Thanks for sharing the experience. It's nice to hear the honest and genuine experience of building a business. It's totally unlike the 'hired Lambo' eCom gurus sell it :) We learn it when we develop a product in real, don't we?
Thanks your words and straightforward made me feel better and more confident that the solution is out there. Continue please (but do not get too comfortable with positive feedback, just use it to balance the necessary bad one that actually teach you something).
No. 6 cannot be overemphasised, God knew it from the beginning and set aside one day out of the week to rest and thank Him for making it possible for us to work in the first place.
my brother introduce this channel to me. from that onwards, I am a big fan of you and your channel. I really loved the startup forensic series. I really appreciate your work.
Hi Caya! I have been following you since August 2019 and I have watched almost all of your videos. Thanks for sharing the insights and the honest content with the community. Really appreciated!!! It is said for the entrepreneurs(/everyone) to have 3 people in your circle for a balanced life. 1. One you senior wanna follow and want to be in next 5 years. 2. The one being on the same level as you are. 3. The one Junior you want to see at your level in 5 years. Love from Pakistan...
I'm so glad to have found your channel. Your videos rekindle the hope that gets dusted at times amid everything going around. Thank you for sharing this immense knowledge.
I so relate to everything in this video! Been an entrepreneur for 12 years. And yes, rest is the hardest one on that list I think . Thank you for these awesome videos
I love your contents and I absolutely admire your time management skill ( cause mine is a mess ). One of the things I'm incredibly envious of is your team chemistry. Doing anything team related is very hard unless you have those mind reading people who can understand you before you even begin to explain yourself and take initiative to do those things as if it were their own. It's good to see that someone has that. P.S.. Me and my start-up community here are waiting patiently for slidebean to expand your business to our country ( Ethiopia ). Also it will be great if you make a video of how to be a motivational CEO who can communicate with teams effectively ( especially remote ones ).
Building something from scratch gives u liverage, control sometimes matters. U have to know what to build from scratch. U don't want surprises mid flight.
I love how you're honest and open about the difficulties startups face, this way people are prepared for the sacrifice and aren't thinking it's all rainbows like in those insta posts
Thanks for watching!

Hi, Derek. Please email us at marketing@slidebean.com with your concrete proposal :)
You stopped leaning forward! The lean is your signature. Some leaning forward is better than no obvious leaning
Wish I would've started watching your videos a year ago! Truly the best online resource for aspiring entrepreneurs. Thanks for the content
My fav video source next to silicon valley series.
I wish all people who come to RUclips looking for good and honest content about entrepreneurship would find your videos really. I wish you all the best!

Watching the evolution and growth of this channel has been awesome. And I'm happy to let you know that you are who I turn to when I have questions about my startup.
Awesome! Thank you, Kuya!
4:50 - I really wish more product owners understood this.... Don't sell tools to stakeholders, sell solutions.
Keep it coming, Caya, you're doing much more than just sharing your experience. Thanks a lot.
i also am startup founder, i can feel pain/hard work we need to put in, sometimes it's way too much, sadly i am way remote to meet those founders and have experience with them but it's great to see videos dedicated to this.

Thanks for watching!
I have lived a life of unbelievable stress and suffering when I was running my startup. I have lost a lot of hair. The problem is you have to learn to do everything and anything.

Really appreciate the honesty and transparency. Keep that up, you'll keep on growing.

You are so right, letting go of people for whatever reason is pretty hard
This video is gold!

Call bullshit when you see it reminds me of Alux. Best lesson I ever learnt from them. Has brought me far.
