I just re-watched this visualization and it reminds me of a time I was meeting with up with a friend that I had met in Seoul out in Chicago(where I'm from). As I toured her and her friend around the city with another one of my friends that's from Chicago, we decided to go over by the museum campus at night because the skyline view is gorgeous from there. Then after taking some *photographs* there we drove down Lake Shore Drive playing this song and enjoying every moment of how incredibly beautiful the city is. What made me post this comment was after paying really close attention, I realized that this entire video wasn't shot in NYC, but the end of it is at Navy Pier in Chicago. Then the very end is them going under the bridge of Lake Shore Drive, the same location I played this song with my friends that night! Life really does come full circle sometimes, but I can say to all of you wondering out there, this song definitely passes the vibe check for night driving in the city. I really love this song and the music video. I've been bawling my eyes out because it perfectly captures the essence of photography. I love taking pictures and in this way, I have started to appreciate life even the smallest details. It could be the moon's reflection on the water, people sitting at a distance or a shadow created by trees. This song reminds me of my little sister. She was born when I was 16, and when things got heavy at home I spent almost all day taking care of her. Feeding her, make her take her naps.. I really love this song and the music video. I've been bawling my eyes out because it perfectly captures the essence of photography. I love taking pictures and in this way, I have started to appreciate life even the smallest details. It could be the moon's reflection on the water, people sitting at a distance or a shadow created by trees. In this fast paced world, I think we need to slow down a bit, breathe, and take time to feel the present moment because we will never appreciate life if we keep on ignoring the beauty of our surroundings. This song reminds me of my little sister. She was born when I was 16, and when things got heavy at home I spent almost all day taking care of her. Feeding her, make her take her naps.. She was very sick at the moment and there were very hard moments, but I always put this song to make her fall asleep on my arms for her nap. She would instantly fall asleep as we danced through the song. And now I haven't seen her in a while, I'm really eager to come back home just to take her in my arms and dance this. Every single time I play this song I feel the weight of her on my arms, and I automatically start swinging as I did with her. i know this was posted forever ago, but i always come back to this album and this song in particular. there's just something about the combination of the chords, certain instruments, and the soothing vocals that seems to transport the listener. the lyrics are also beautiful as well, and very thought provoking. no matter how many times i listen, i won't ever be tired of this. the whole album is a masterpiece.
