    Great interview! I love how she cares about the mostly forgotten lives of the prisoners. I can relate from when I was locked up. People visiting like Lauren Daigle gives prisoners and inmates so much joy and hope where there is sadness and hopelessness.

    We hope and pray that Lauren doesn't end up like Amy Grant, who, despite being incredibly talented, has veered way of course in her affirmation of the gay lifestyle. Pleasing God, not men, needs to be the #1 priority of the believer. Jesus said, "Marvel not if the world hates you. If it hated me, it will hate you." While Christians should not look for or intentionally cause division, taking a stand for righteousness will inevitably create some degree of persecution. Any believer that is more popular than Jesus was in this world, and we know Jesus was the "perfect" man, cannot possibly be radiating with His image and likeness. Just saying.

      Love and acceptance of others is what Jesus came to earth to show us. Such a simple lesson yet so hard to do - if you truly love then should love all people! Judging Amy or anyone else is like a modern day Pharisee and not what true christians are called to do - where is the love?

    • @peterpulpitpounder
      @peterpulpitpounder Год назад +4

      @@nancymoreno3198 I speak graciously, but your perspective is not biblically balanced, nor completely accurate. The purpose of Christ's coming was to "save us from our sins," not merely to show love and acceptance of others. In fact, many human souls are going to be cast from God's presence because "they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved." And did Jesus "accept" the Pharisees that you mentioned in your comment? Well, He certainly cared for them, but He also vehemently condemned their wickedness, and in the strongest language possible. Affirming the worth of a human soul does not mean you accept or approve of what they do. In the case of Amy Grant, it is appalling she is now affirming the gay lifestyle, even allowing a gay wedding to take place on her property. This is pure evil, and she needs to be rebuked for it. "True" love does not affirm sin. That is not love at all. If Lauren Daigle follows the path of Amy Grant, she will choose darkness over light, and will deny the true Gospel and teachings of Scripture.

      @@peterpulpitpoundergreat comment brother 🔥💪🏿👌🏿but didn't Lauren daigle refrain from saying anything on homosexuality? She seemed fearful of the backlash and was not willing to speak the truth because of that.

    • @peterpulpitpounder
      @peterpulpitpounder Год назад +4

      @@mosesmkandawire3032 Yes, four years back, after Lauren appeared on the Ellen Degeneres show, she was asked if homosexuality is a sin, and she said she didn't know. It's really not a hard question to answer, unless you are greatly ignorant of the revelation of Scripture. But perhaps she was just a babe in the faith and needed time to grow and develop. I don't know. Was she pressured to please men? Had she been influenced by the liberal, humanistic and false teachings of Andy Stanley? Whatever be the case, let's pray her present stance is godly and righteous, no matter the consequences. I speak graciously, but a pretty voice and a nice voice are not indicators of true spirituality.

    God, in his word (bible), clearly says that homosexuality is a sin.
    Leviticus 18:22
    Do not lie with a man as with a woman: it is an abomination.
    Genesis 19:1-13 Sodom and Gomorrah
    Romans 1:26-27 shameful deeds, homosexuals
    1 Corinthians 6:9 Nor an adulterer
    Black is black and white is white, and there is no justification for sin, none.
    Not everyone who says to me: 'Lord! Lord!', will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in Heaven. Matthew 7:21

      I have a question for you...are you without sin? A real Christian will say no I am a sinner, so what makes you judge other people's sin? Again just because we are able to see their sins doesn't mean they don't deserve God's love and Jesus salvation.

    • @bootsie280
      @bootsie280 Год назад +1

      @@Adrianworld77- lukewarm christianity is the worse always accusing of judgment but isn’t judgment is what God said…we can’t be unevenly yoked to those people who’re in rebellion against God, period. You forgot why God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah. Or the flood!? Because of the debaucherous life they were living.

    • @user-yb9hi3us4p
      @user-yb9hi3us4p Год назад

      The Bible also says many other things are sins. Like lying, stealing, coveting, looking at another with lust, etc etc.
      If you're innocent of all that God considers sin then well done, you don't need Jesus at all.
      On the other hand, Jesus died 2000 years ago for all my sins. He paid for them all before I even dreamed any of them up, so He knows and has paid for all the sins I still don't know I'm going to commit. Praise God.
      What would it be like if our sins were only forgiven up to the point of salvation? We'd all be so fearful of screwing up and losing our salvation we'd never do anything.

      Genuine question, what do the verses "do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and the measure you use, it will be measured to you" mean to you?

    • @bootsie280
      @bootsie280 Год назад +1

      @@Danny1420 - genuine question, did you read the entire passage or you only read the part you misused to support your fallacious argument. Talking the message out of context is what everyone uses to silenced criticism. How dared you interpreting Jesus’ meaning as “You don’t have the right to tell me or anyone else “I’m wrong.” the Bible’s command that we not judge others does not mean that we can’t make righteous judgment of what someone is publicly doing compromising the truth. I’ll suggest when quoting the Bible don’t just read what suits you to prove a point rather read it, understand it and applied it correctly to avoid looking like a righteous hypocrite because you’ll be a liar if you tell me that you haven’t judge anyone ever in your life!?
