  • So here's the next crossing I decided to tour while I was here in Deshler, and this one is owned by the Toledo sub only, and this one is also right on to the south part of the Southeast Wye (which is one of 3 Wyes that take you from the Willard to the Toledo, or vice versa). And this crossing is kinda more of a modern setup, but this one in particular features equipment that CSX doesn't always use, Safetran Dialight LEDs and Type 3 E bells. Quite interesting! And this crossing is also basically in the middle of several rather scenic areas of Crossroads Railpark, such as bodies of water, open land, the diamond itself and a bunch of CPL signals from the B&O days. Quite the iconic spot if you ask me (and this crossing could also be seen from the Deshler Virtual Railfan South Railcam as well lol). So I guess with that said, I hope y'all enjoy this one

So, that Railroad Crossing is discontinuing soon?
Also, if I had to give an Opinion about the Gate Mechs, since with those Safetran 2000’s Gate Mechs literally throwing off what those 2 Railroad Crossings have in your previous Railroad Crossing Tour Video, I think would it be better if those Safetran 2000’s Gate Mechs were instead also the older Safetran Gate Mechs, whether they’re the 1970’s, 1980’s, or 1990’s ones, or perhaps to be like the GRS/WRRS Gate Mechs, or at the very least would they be the Invensys Rail Gate Mechs, since the Stamped Logos on them would give like something or so.
If they were to be the Imprinted Logo Invensys Rail Gate Mechs, I think that’d give off like a rare look or so, just like how Pleasant St. #1 has the rare Imprinted Logo Invensys Rail Gate Mech, along with a remaining & rare TPC Gate Mech as well, which gives it like a rare/uncommon Gate Mech Combo, per se.
    But yeah, nice Video, all-n-all!

The crossing is staying, the rumor is that the B&O CPLs are being replaced soon.
