The vintage setting with that rosewood board is just so electric gypsy, you have that down. Jesse's work is right at the top of the fuzz chain~Thanks again!
I just got the Mini Ge and Mini Si fuzzes. Jesse makes some incredible effects. Run these fuzzes into the Blues power. I was never a fan of huge low end but these fuzzes can sound massive, or set to Vintage for more traditional Fuzz Face tones.
carlygtr hell yea. I just stayed with him for a few days and messed with the si version. Sounds like my old bc183 owned by EJ. Killer. Thanks for your interest and great content as well!
Will the Mini Ge pair well with Humbuckers and aptly able to trim off any low end big? On top off that my amps are generally on the darker sounding side to begin with, so I'm looking for more bite and a bit less low end.
@@theriffwniksevigny5473 Do you mean the features or the actual tone of the fuzz?; I have a Vintage one but I'm curious about how it compares to the mini GE one
I find it quite interesting how the "bias" led will turn off and on based on the input signal "volume knob" and picking attack. So what exactly is the "Bias" control biasing?
Apparently, they do not. Jesse confirmed my KT MiniFuzz uses a 2SB175 for transistor 1 and AC188 for transistor 2 after I sent him photos of the inside of my pedal.
Yo Nik, Dig it !!! Is the amp on straight clean ? I may have missed if you mentioned. Just trying to get a sense of how much amp tone vs pedal tone. I prefer as little pedals as possible and prefer the amp to get tone but that sounds pretty awesome. Also is it noisy when not playing ? Keep the fuzz alive !! Lookin forward to 4 and 5 ! Cheers !
Nice man! I love all of his stuff and am torn between what to buy first. I already have a 3rd Stone Fuzz, but really like this guy. Torn between getting this Fuzz of the Duelist. What are your thoughts on the Duelist?
@@theriffwniksevigny5473 Good lord. That dude is crazy. I never heard of him then stumbled on to the Duellist and was in love. Then I looked to see what else he was working on and was blown away, not only pedals, but pups and even had a reverse headstock neck. Seen his pickup winder... Then watched clips of him playing... Even more amazed. The guy kills it and I'm pissed because I didn't hear of him sooner. Does he still play gigs? We have several music and blues festivals here in Pennsylvania, Musikfest had Eric Gales and Gary Clark Jr. (among others) last year, would be awesome if Jesse would come. Lots of local beer, food and music. Martin Guitars and Yuengling Brewery sponsored it. Both are local company's. Anyway... Thanks for the reply and the demo. Sorry for the long reply.
Hey man, what do you think of the Duellist? I'm building a new board from scratch as I got a nice clean amp and I'm thinking of splashing the cash for the Duellist, it's expensive but on the other hand it's a dual pedal so you essentially save money but I'm not sure. How's the build quality of it or the Mini Fuzz? I'll probably get both at some point.
nickardasis well. If using a clean amp. The duellist can give you a boost and an Od in one! Also. Build Quality on both are clean and stout. Etched cases and all. Mini fuzz works amazing with the duellist
Sorry I wouldn’t buy a product from watching this video, it not professional or educational enough. Sorry... I did buy the silicone version after watching Jessie‘s video...

I just bought one of these - your vid is killer. Sick tones and killer playing
Nice! Enjoy it

Thanks Nik for answering my questions......Rock on
David Andon Pogliń thank you for watching!
Anytime man ..... And for answering Even on Instagram ✌🏻️🙌🏻👏🏻
Hey Guy ✌️
Setting of internal switch? Thank
Sounds great great video ! Have been using Jesse's "the duellist' for a while & have the octaland & blues power, he makes great pedals & great player.
Great pedal Thinking about getting the BP to go with it and maybe the Bluebirds to go on my 72 putting back together Good stuff Nik
Great demo! Does It sounds good even if it's placed after buffered pedals or It should be the first pedale in the chain?

Jesse Davey pedals are instruments.
what amp are you using?
Decisions... Kingtone Mini or Vintage Fuzz? (Obviously both, but...)
Mark S i like what the mini fuzz does!

Chris Owens thanks man. Check em

Nice playing. How does this compare to Jesse's new GE/SI combo fuzz?
Their website says the V2 has Ge Mp10b.
@@leonardo.rafael Do all the V1.x Kingtone miniFuzz Ge pedals use the NKT275?
Its not official. Mines looks like, but there is not labels anywhere. You could ask the customer support service at their site.

Man, what pedals do you use, that clean tone is not so clean. Best demo ever !
The clean or straight in tone is just a cranked super reverb,
@@theriffwniksevigny5473 my heavens... that sounds sick ! Would you say that the minifuzz Ge is similar to the Vintage fuzz?
sick man! Which fuzz would u recommend for a first time fuzz guy. if u had to win home over to be a fuzz guy. Hendrix/SRV tones

Mark Hopkins cant go wrong with the duellist!
Hey Nik, is this available in nkt275 as well as ac128 ? I think the mini is more fuzz novice friendly
Stephen Prater i believe this is a nkt275 i am playing
The Riff w Nik Sevigny with the Super Reverb?
Stephen Prater yup
Sounds incredible man !
Are you using the king tone switch on in the video ?
No sir
You play great man!!!
happy guy thanks so much for the kind words. Im always trying to get better!
Loving your clips friend.
Nice playing but, i have yet to hear a full on bar chord with this pedal. that is the only thing stopping me from picking one up
Barre chords are there. Just played “thumb over”
Does Jesse build each pedal himself?
John H yes. Every single one

Excellent. Hope you enjoy the fuzz!
Is there a difference in the sound of the pedal if you use the input jack instead of the 9v battery?
Exactly. I wanted to know that aswell
ridiculous to show off that chest hair...
Hey whats a man to do
