Great Video, Very Detailed. I have a 2013 Chevy Equinox LT and it's pretty much the same thing. As I planned for the weekend to get this changed. After taking off the tire. I looked for the sensor to see its condition, and it limped and slid out like it was never connected. Saw that the security clip on the sensor was not secured and plugged in. So instead of doing all the removal, I zipped-tied it so it was secured and had no bents, then after an engine start and system check, THE ABS AND TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT WENT AWAY!!!. omfg. I could not believe it was something sooooo stupid. My advice to all that are doing these DO IT YOURSELF guys. CHECK ALL CONNECTIONS before taking it to a mechanic. Do as much due diligence as possible.
I couldn’t find any detailed videos for a Chevy Equinox but surprisingly these instructions are the exact same for the 2014 Equinox as well. Chevy made them nearly identical.
A few questions: 1. Does this video also apply to a 2011 Traverse? 2. How many sensors does a 2011 Traverse have? 3. If it doesn't have one on all four wheels, which ones have it? 4. Is there a way to tell if the old one is bad? It may help to know that I found this video after Googling solutions for "traction control off/service stabilitrack" light came on. Also, it is not on when I first start the car but comes on a few minutes into my trip.
Did you clean and reuse the old sensor. Did that work for the fix. I have an abs , traction light on and when the stabilitrak light comes on it runs like crap. Like it's on 3 cylinders when I get on the gas. Slow driving it does not act up.

This was a great video. It was done as well as I have ever seen. Thanks

Would this be the same or close to it for a 2012 Acadia rear?
Please post a video on how to change the front wheel speed sensor for a 2011 Chevy traverse.

Oh Lord...since I'm not mechanically inclined, this is gonna be a repair shop deal for me... Having said that, this repair looks expensive as hell. 😫
How much was it
Can you replace the sensor without removing all that?
