- I hosted a minecraft speedrun tournament in celebration of beating minecraft 3,000 timess, and they had to play without resetting, this is how it went, enjoy!

The best part of this tournament is seeing how excited Couri is the entire time and gives a fair share of enthusiasm for all the runners

watching them side-by-side like this is a great eye opener. like how the RNG affects every run even at the start, even a dolphin spawn helps a heck ton and not to forget that all this runners makes split second decisions that makes this even more exciting. what a fun Event, thanks Couri!♥

absolutely loved this tourney, so glad it's gonna be a regular thing :D
also seed 9 was so so insane, winning while having to run back to get an extra rod is nuts

Woulda loved to see NoFear1337 and Zylenox in this, as they could definitely give Doog a run for his money.
one of the runners was very late and couri said he had zylenox ready on the backburner as a sub in 😂 so almost!!
I went with the runners i did because of consistency in tournaments and in mcsr ranked, nofear has proven to be inconsistent and zylenox is amazing but had just gotten back from a month away on vacation, so was a bit rusty

this event was awesome but next time can you have like an incredibly average speedrunner (or even someone who doesnt speedrun but knows how to play the game) playing too for reference so it makes the big guys more impressive

Excellent video though Couri, I want to see an ‘old guard vs. new guard’ one with all the old RSG runners (reignex, you maybe, Feinberg, Benex? Nicetwice, silver, all the old guys vs. lowkey, priffin, doog or smth like that). Prob not a good idea but idk if you could bring some people back for a tourney I’d love to see it!

This was fun but quite intimidating to watch as someone who doesn't know much about mc speedruns. A sort of voice over post game review of what the players did almost smant style might appeal more to the layman? just a thought :)

very cool format! for me it's confusing that the screens constantly swap especially with the final 3 every player should have their dedicated screen position.
Totally get it, the reason that was happening for clarity was audio only worked when it was on the top left screen!

Seed 9 really said lemme put some drama into this tournament.
can someone explain what ground zero is? Is it like the bed does a lot more damage? Is the dragon supposed to get nuked?
ground zero is just a way to kill the dragon before it perches (zero cycle) and at the ground level. it's a fast alternative if a traditional zero cycle is too risky to go for (pearling up to a node and killing the dragon there)
