I've had this show on the dvr for a month.. Just started watching today and it is AWESOME.. Great casting/acting.. Dark and gritty show.. There are parts that remind me of point break, Michael Mann films & of course SOA
They killed smurfs no one is safe and Jay has come into his own is just as smart as smurfs but not a psychopath like smurf( r.i.p. smurf) and Pope is just psyco- crazy I love this show
All departments of this production put together an awesome narrly good job. You kept me on the edge of my seat/imagination. It was believable....loved the smurf idea. Ellen did a perfect job with her character. Big Congrats! Loved seeing North County San Diego again, surfs up. ChEeRs!
Not a fan of violence but they keep it at a bearable level, great storyline and acting! but I really watch it for the guys!!! I have a crush on every one of them!!! totally obsessed!!!
In reality her son's were definitely more violent! The American show is a pussies version. I doubt you would've been able to watch the real thing as violence was a way of life for them

I agree with them about Ellen Barkin. She is the legend on that set. The room is filled with actors saying their lines, and I’m focused on Ellen Barkin because she’s that good. Killing her at the end of season 4 was a big mistake.

Ellen Barkin looked nothing like the real smurf Kath Pettingill who was dubbed Granny evil! Kath stated she didn't like how Ellen Barkin kissed her son's on their lips in the show! Kath said she never did that! If she kissed her boys on the lips like that her son's would've smacked her TF out! The director David thought it was a good idea to put that in but the idea sucked because it wasn't a true fact!
To be honest the American show is like a pussies version. This was based on a true Australian family & in reality they were more bloody brutal than they were shown in this American tv show
