Mich würden die schlecht sitzenden Brustabnäher viel mehr stören als der wellige Reißverschluss auf dem Rücken.

You didn't add extra length at the back to allow for the length you took out with the horizontal waist adjustment. The top may not wrinkle in the back now, but it is much shorter in the back than in the front. If you were going to cut an entire new back, it would have been nice if you had added the needed length you removed.
