Keith made this interesting by giving glimpse into what he’s thinking, while showing beginners where you CAN simplify and not getting into details that may confuse them. I’m a gigging guitarist, yet that little nugget he threw in with the slide up to the Dadd9 followed by the G to the Gadd9 is brilliant. Those are the style points us guitarists come to love.
I just checked out on Keith Urban in Internet - boy, he is a famous Western and Rockstar!!!! And married happily since 13 years to a big Hollywoodstar,, and he is sooo simple and cheerful here in those lessons....respect, Sir
0:50 E major 1:53 E minor 2:59 E7 4:10 E minor 7 5:17 Intro Riff 7:56 Verse 9:10 Chorus 12:40 Building the song 13:20 Play with Ben 15:28 Play with the band 17:47 You're the player Another great learning video of the man himself: Keith Urban !!! But: It's a very confusing video. It's a bit of a mess. Ben is is playing the verse differently from what Keith expleined. The same goes for the chorus. Ben is kind of playing the simplified version of the chorus but noy according what Keith explained, nor is he playing the "technically correct" version. Ben is playing this as a Chorus: 4 C 4 G 4 Em 8 C 4 G 2 Em 2 D 5 G
Gteat videos for my 11 yr old niece who is learning cello and i showed her an E maj. Chord on guitar today.I can see she's got the passion.I will draw out most common chords for her and show her these videos.
