My phone screen broke once, and in order to get it fixed by apple, they said they had to send a confirmation to my phone that I would have to respond to. It is just outright idiotic that apple doesn't allow you to use other devices than your phone to log in to Find My or get repairs. If your phone breaks, you're just fucked.
