    Thanks for sharing, that bridge has a very long way to go, I hear the penalty for late delivery is minor like $15K a day, chump change when considering the price tag of 200 million, if 5 years late, penalty is only a 13% hit to the contract but a massive economic loss to Guyana waiting.

    Glad to see that Guyana is moving foward. Since I was a kid it was the Guyanese dream to bridge the Demarara River. I am no engineer but I think it should have been a lot higher. Ships also have to pass.

    People always bash chinese construction companies. HOWEVER! They are swift in what they do and this construction will prove that they are just as worthy to deliver quality.
    Just like they proved Guyana with the construction of CJIA. Best wishes to our government!

      It's alot of work remaining. If they don't finish by May. They have to be done by December. Don't forget December is also a rainy season in Guyana but not as bad as May June.
