1982. Awarded the bronze medal for his self-composed song “Little Ship and Life” at the 1st Busan Dong-A Song Festival
1983 .MBC University Song Festival Busan Competition, his self-composed song "Where" won the Grand Prize.
Won the 83rd 7th MBC University Song Festival as a representative of Busan.
