Im a huge fan of the malaise rework, I’ve been stepping more into 4 boss cell and am glad it’s just not a second health bar imo. After all this time playing I still feel unsure with mutations especially combinations and would love to see a vid of that, I understand not wanting to rank them if it gets some undies in a twist. Keep up the great vids man!

The build is strong even without snake fangs, doesn't say much about the weapon imo because almost everything works with shards and carbine in backpack. They just seem to dominate every viewer build...
When I play snake fangs I always focus on buffing the hell out of it. On brutality I triple bind with firebrands+infantry grenade and use melee/scheme/open wounds and try get burning oil synergy+bleed synergy and it just destroys. On tactics I do the same as this video but use turrets to get the extra support damage. Still not sure if I prefer it on tactics or brutality though Also wow that's probably the best run I've seen in a long time, great vid
Personally I love the snake fangs, and despite the low damage vs bosses id actually put it as the second best weapon in the game, after electric whip. I was considering dual binding it with ice shards but never got around to it since fangs + knife dance has been enough to kill everything in biomes, its one of the few weapons where you can really take a hyper aggressive build and just spam it to kill everything on the map. In terms of the affixes I usually take +70% to stun, +60% to bleed (and open wounds), and freeze nearby enemies, because they all just help immensely in biomes. Im thinking that this weapon, due to the high attack speed, might be broken in conjunction with kill rhythm, but i need to do some testing on that. On a side note, did you know that theres an even faster way to descend through platforms with ladders? By rolling and pressing a direction at the exact same time that you start to descend, you can fling yourself downwards off of the ladder into an incredibly fast fall. You can then turn this into a slam (if you dont you will be stunned). I dont know if this works on controllers due to the analogue inputs, but its incredibly satisfying if you can pull it off, even if its only a few milliseconds quicker than just grabbing the ladder and slamming :)
Vee, now I know why you don't like Blood Sword that much. It's op with Ice Shards (I know Shards are SSS, but this way you don't need to take Melee) or Kunai. Open Wounds, Combo (for biomes, anything you want for bosses) and Armadillo Pack it's GG (I can't say for 4BC+ though since I'm struggling over there with anything). Try to use the bleeding turrets for even more popping. My quickest HotK kill was with a build like this.
Top something mutations. Top something mutation builds (the three mutations together). Mutations to skip, ever (for 4BC+ just like the item tierlists), YOLO would be on this one for sure for example. Just some suggestions.
@@brycehallisy8381 the problem is that for that damage to be dealt,you need to run and dodge away from the sickles,wich makes you play your whole game around it for little to no reward
Just do your fave mutation combinations and what equips/builds go with them. Even your tier lists are subjective but at least if you do a "favorites" its obvious that its your personal pref and doesnt invalidate other peoples builds. Thatd be entertaining for me even of its 2hrs long lol. Plus also maybe some situational mutation combinations would be very educational. Thing is the footage for all these might be too much work.

I like the idea of snake fangs and wave of denial. Teleport to the enemy, push them away from you and repeat. Works well against most enemies.

I have not got past Throne Room/Distillery on 5bc since the malaise update. So brutal.

I agree snake fangs is s tier but I find scarecrow sickles a worse version of lacerating or owl. If anyone wanna change my mind Im open

press attack when you climbing. For some slow weapons you might need to press an extra jump during the weapon’s attack animation to keep climbing

With acrobatipack, I am actually firing carbine bullets along with the ice shards.
There are different muatations wich activate with a dodge roll
I dont care how good the snake fangs are, they are tho most fun to play with, in my opinion
