A big thumbs up for rewilding ,Beavers to be used in areas prone to flooding, provide new habitats for wildlife, prevent floods ,These have to be supervised by Rangers .Water voles in suitable habitat ,do not forget the plants ,flowers, that are rare plus all the insects ,and importantly bees to most be planted ,and encouraged .

I'm pleased to say my local golf course recently closed down, the local wildlife trust in cheshire is now the new owners. They are going to rewild the course and join up with other woodland in the area.Rewilding is the future.

If we can't bring wolves back to britian then we'll just have to clone Cave Lions to regulate the environment!
This will be a massive boost to biodiversity, and we'll increase the number of cute kitties.

Yes, we are definitely overdue when it comes to reintroducing predators. All very well reintroducing more browsers if the ones we have already are very widespread, breeding to the point they're damaging new trees and holding back woodland projects.

Great idea about the golf club in Cornwall. But the idea of kids breeding glow worms is amazing, what better way to learn about nature and help redistribute the insects.

Nice, there's a disused golf course near me in Brighton called waterhall (i think) that's being rewilded that I helped a friend with one of her projects on that they're talking about introducing some longhorn Cattle there they've already dead hedged their ponds and the amphibian population there is nuts already.

@@LeaveCurious Yeah it's great I caught a great Crested Newt whilst doing training towards the certificate. Got me a good reference for it too which will work to acquiring a handling license.

@@LeaveCurious Ooh havent done one of those yet I'm doing a water invertebrate project for my uni project that's part of the Chiddinglye rewilding plan. The fact it has a brewery on site and camping may have had an effect on the decision xD

I found this Chanel purely by chance whilst doing an assignment on rewinding an area for my zoology degree. It could not have come at a better time because the examples will be such useful sources and are themselves, very clever.

I wonder if I can rewild glow worms in my backyard here in Normandy. I have such a terrible slug problem! If you have any resources to get that kind of project set up, would love to see a follow up video on that!
