She literally stands there and let’s you hit her after some moves and encourages you to punch the baseball back, she knew she was going to win from the start and was just messing around.

This is genuinely so great. I feel like it’s one of these few times where lyrics really complement the song that it’s taking inspiration from. It truly highlights so hard the HYPE feel of the song as the spectacle of a Final Boss
The original could have been influenced by Mute City, but its direct reference comes from an equally pumped-up track from LIVE A LIVE with the same name. Toby *has* taken influence from that banger of a game before, so it was definitely intentional. Though, who knows, it could have been influenced by both.
This goes HARD🔥 The dialogue at the beginning actually made me hype, not to mention the lyrics, the vocals, the harmonies, the instrumental, this track got transformed into an actual song, such an amazing job!! (Someone needs to animate this immediately, I could picture a whole cinematic scene with this song seriously😆)
