So if you want the row of knots to go Left to Right (11 o’clock to 5 o’clock), you would knot your left string(1) onto the right string,(2), (forward knot) thus string(1) ends up on the right side of (2). ? Then, for the rows that go in the other direction, everything is just flipped around, and it would be a backward knot with your right string tying onto your left string and ending up on the left side. They are a remarkable amount of ways to screw up the knots. ie starting your knot by going under the other instead of over
I have a question, why do you switch the order of the two strings before you make a forward knot sometimes? Normally I would just take the left string and make a forward knot over the right string but you’re taking your right string, forcing it to the left, (only occasionally)and then making a forward knot.The change up in knots has got me pausing and rewinding quite a bit!
