Pitcher: AND... both teams take the flag to the same place. AND... when they get there, they must perform a tedious task for about two minutes before they actually win. BUT... it is actually only the last couple of seconds that determine who wins
I am so glad i didnt bother to get this game. What some people call a "released" game is a hyucking joke. And who was responsible for those horrible win conditions? But thanks for the laughter Sean, glad you still had a good time with it.
Maybe have a chest and extraction point for each team, like a double capture-the-flag. Each team can take control of the other’s chest and generally interfere with their extraction and it’s a race to see who extracts first, so there’s still incentive to interfere with the other team’s progress.
Or what if they shared the same extraction point and same progress bar, I think that might really shake things up and make legitimately no fucking sense oh my god this game.
@@Nightknight1992 sure you could do that. But still would take a lot longer than how it is now. Not saying it's good right now just saying that it's not that easy to fix. Seeing some bs about how the game need to to be played "as intended" for it to be fun, lol. It really is a testament to how bad this game is, that I haven't even heard a whisper in reference to this game in the two years since. There are many bad games that continue to get mocked for their lack of quality, but this one just died and was forgotten. Rip Bozo I guess.
I've seen other people play this, and it seems like it suffers from the syndrome of being at the complete mercy of whether or not the players want to play it the way it was intended; the stealth mechanics are the "most efficient" way, but if neither team gives a shit (or even understands them, ie if they're new), then it turns into bad, medieval PAYDAY.
@@testcorecom There's a difference between giving a player a cool and strong power, and wanting them to use it in literally every situation. Lots of people prefer pad for 3rd person action games- if the devs didn't anticipate that and tune controls for it, that's a design failure. Players shouldn't be penalized for using a very common control scheme.
I really tried to like it. But there's no stealth. Nothing matter. every feature or function of the game is unbalanced and doesn't work like it should. Don't know what i was expecting, I hoped it was going to be like Hunt showdown or maybe like for honor? or something? A coop focused medivel payday game. Or at least a stealth focused pvp game but it aint even that. The game feels like amature hour, like if it was made as a highschool developer project. Anyhow nice vid.
TLOU Factions interrogation matches have better stealth vs stealth gameplay than this and that's just an optional multiplayer type for a singleplayer game. Spies vs Mercs is better than this. Assassins creed Brotherhood is better than this. How could they fail this so utterly?
This game looks like it would actually be a lot of fun if you play it as intended. Northernlion and co play it 'properly' and it seems like its cool. Doesn't explain itself well, but once you get going it's a neat idea.
@@TheBosama I _think_ the idea is that you basically ignore the NPCs on the map and play around the other team. It's not a PvE game, they're there to add a little bit of texture to the game. I want to clarify that the word properly was in quotes, not for emphasis. Aka playing it as intended, rather than like playing it well, if that makes sense.
It looks like the game has some potential mostly carried by a fantastic concept. Unfortunately, it also looks ridiculously janky, poorly balanced and has some very confusing decisions that were made.
See I just assumed this would be an asymmetric game where one team are the outlaws trying to steal the chest and the other is the Sheriff's crew trying to protect it. Because that's such an obvious way to implement the concept. Instead we're... both Robin Hood? There's a second band of Merry Men trying to rob the Sheriff first? Man, I'm happy I didn't spend any money on this. It's a neat idea with dreadful execution.
the could fix the winching problem pretty easily just by having a different extraction point for each team. Even if they were pretty close together.
yes, but then it could go on forever. Teams taking over the chest. delivering it to their extraction point and then get beaten. Rins and repeat
