How accurate are home values online? How accurate are home values on Zillow and Redfin? Online home value estimates tend to vary in accuracy depending on the property or home in question.
I share my personal experience with the Zillow Estimate and Redfin Estimate. Automated home values can be fairly accurate in large, planned communities where all of the houses are similar. There are few planned communities in the Seattle area, so Zillow and Redfin home values tend to be inaccurate.
