DAL and or any team should express players like Hopkins. Obviously cost gets out of realism these days. DAL can use a WR1 or WR2 added to what they have. Off topic but the question mark on offense isn't the wide outs, tight ends or even backs these days. This teams question mark is under center.

Screaming for another qb is pointless. You gave Dak the contract and stuck with him plain and simple. I've heard this same argument for 25+years. The 2016 year Dak played for pennies and was descent but the offensive line was #1 and Zeke was #1 but we allowed GreenBay to fly into our city as underdogs and kick ass. It was " fire Jasen Garrett" That was our year but our defense allowed the packers to jump ahead and forced Zeke on the bench. Zeke and the offensive line was the keys to our success in 2016 but I still think Romo would've gotten us to the superbowl because he had more persuasion with the offensive coordinator Lenohan, he read the defense better than Dak and had a much quicker throwing release. Our defense and running game are the 🔑 🗝 to open up the pass. If our defense keep Brady on the bench. offensive line has to be ready for a long hard battle. Zeke & Pollard will control the ⏰️ Dan Quinn will have the defense prepared. Can't wait to end Brady's win streak over us

Yes, but that has yet to negotiated. Early projections indicate a possible increase of about 12 to 15 mil in 2023. Won't matter much when a team grossly overpays a QB, and his salary cap hit hit jumps about 15 mil per year. Lol

OBJ was never going to get $20M from JJ. I'm not against a trade for Hopkins but at the right price and JJ has always been all over that. Especially with FA trades. Its his draft picks who he always overpays. I hate to think what we are going to pay Hopkins and CD has a contract coming up.... add that to what were going to need to pay to keep Diggs, and micha. Also players like Kearse, Hooker, Wilson, Barr. I imagine JJ will do as usual and just replace on an annual basis the Safety's and LB's.

So many first round qbs that seem like can't miss prospects become busts. While dak isn't elite, he's capable enough to win. Sam darnold was a can't miss prospect. Mayfield was the first pick of the draft. Trubisky was the second pick as was Zach Wilson. Dak is better than all of those players and we Ajay have him. I wouldn't try and move on because it could be decades to find someone that is at dak's level, even if he's not elite
