Last week we sat down with Miami rap pioneer JT Money for an exclusive “Off The Porch” interview! During our conversation he talked about his name buzzing crazy recently, performing at the Miami Heat game, them presenting him with his own custom jersey, working on his next album ‘Immortal’, list some big named features that will be on the album, reveals what inspires him to keep creating today, paints a picture of what Miami looked like when he was coming up, living all over Miami, Poison Clan signing to Luke, putting together their first album ‘2 Low Life Muthas’ in 1990, “Dance All Night”, hitting the road to promo the album, Debonaire leaving Poison Clan after the first album, following up with ‘Poisonous Mentality’ album, starting to brand himself on this album, the creative process for “Shake What Ya Mama Gave Ya”, the song still being played today 30 years later, “Groove With The PC”, being featured on Luke’s “Fakin Like Gangsters” song, being on the “Banned In The USA” tour with Luke, explains how he linked with Trick Daddy, being featured on 2 songs on Trick’s first album, where he was mentally when going into recording his first solo album ‘Pimpin On Wax’, originally recording 3 verses on “Who Dat”, the single hitting number 1 on Billboard Rap chart, the inspiration for “Playa Ass Sh*t”, people thanking him for “Ho Problems”, collabing with Big Gipp on “Alright”, working with Too Short on “Something Bout Pimpin”, being featured on Sole’s “4,5,6” single, explains how “Hi-Lo” was created, reveals he wanted to put Trina on “Super Chick”, his relationship with Rick Ross, knowing Scarface before “Mind Playin Tricks” dropped, his recent interview on Drink Champs, and much more!
