Awwe! I used to read these too, the Magic Tree House stories used to be so fun as kids. Then the Enid Blyton books, Nancy Drew, The Famous Five, and so many more.
Do kids read these now a days?
I work in libraries and I can confirm they are still very popular and the series is still going strong! They even expanded into a non-fiction series that teaches about some of the concepts in the books.
I used to love reading this series when I was younger! Brought me down memory lane. I love being told bedtime stories to help me fall asleep! Thank you

I remember being in Grade 2 and if our class met our goals from Monday-Thursday, on Friday she would read us a book from The Magic Treehouse ❤️ She'd let us either sit at our desks or relax on the circle time rug and she'd set an ambiance to relax us. I loved it sooo much!
This happens to be the one book I stole from my teachers prize bin in grade 4

If you wanted to do a more mature book the stranger is a good one. It is such a short book yet there is so much to break down from character development to plot to things not being what they seem. Its a really challenging book

The nostalgia! The Magic Treehouse series was the best! Its how I got into reading in grade 1 or 2 and read all of them. I think my favourites were this one and the knight at dawn and earthquake in the early morning or something
Fact: the first people to say the Titanic was unsinkable was the media as the Titanic was the largest ship ever built at the time so they believed it was unsinkable as it had water tight doors which did not go all the way up to the ceiling of the ship. The water just went right over flooding each compartment. If the bulkheads went all the way up the ship would've never sunk. White Star Line, Thomas Andrews (designer) and builders never said it was unsinkable.
I had no idea there were story arcs in The Magic Treehouse. I just read them randomly for book reports.

Really don’t understand why every ASMR channel has so much finger nail tapping it is such an annoying sounds and is not relaxing at all!
