There's just so many alternative posibilities here, but the most important thing to me is.. if Carson didn't float through the Chatahooche Straits, then why is there a picture of him getting out of it? Are you telling me he went through the Wetlands, Abner Farm, Madison Meadows, then traversed the rocky mountains to get upstream? Just to prove he didn't cheat? Personally, I think the simplest solution is that Carson was a genius to figure out that the rapids were the quickest and simplest route, and that Annabelle might've just not spotted him cause she was busy staring at her phone or something.

My theory is that Carson actually is innocent and it was Ray Buckley who killed Jessica. At 04:15 when the murder is depicted you can clearly see it is the same hat Ray is wearing during his interview at 05:43. This would also make his statement that he would have seen Carson go through Briar cliffs mean he was attempting to pin the murder on Carson. The reason for this might have been that after Carson had set such a high reputation for the Pinecone race in previous years, Ray could not take losing anymore and wanted to eliminate him from future competitions by making everyone think he cheated. This doesn't take into account all the blood on Carson's shirt at the end of the race but either way I thought it was a fun theory.

    • @DeathnoteBB

Holy smokes I just had a weird thought the other day about Graeme collaborating with this channel last night. I take full credit for somehow indirectly psychically manipulating this bizarre reality to manifest. You’re welcome everybody.
I’m gonna go start imagining some winning lottery numbers.

I'm so glad I found this channel again. Forgot to subscribe last time, didn't make that mistake again.
Love the video! Poor Tommy and the shirt were big laughs, but the interviewer's tired / defeated / confused "the what" took the cake. I kind of forgot the premise was a crime documentary about a murdered girl, so invested I was in pinecone racing.
That was a wonderful reminder with a *perfect* delivery. Great writing and acting all around!

  • @frasnosrep2

Carson could only run through Abner farm if he was a family member, that’s why he was pressuring Jessica to get married before the race. After his attitude on Coneapalooza she called the wedding off, which pissed him off big time. When he tried to pressure her one more time, things got out of hand and the rest is history.
RIP Jessica, blessed be her soul
